Hi Guys & Girls,
today i present you with something i’ve worked on for quite a while, an incredibly fun and addictive Game: Audiosurf
Audiosurf is a unique game that can convert any song in your music library into a playable race course; with many different characters to choose from, each with their different set of unique skills on how to play the game. Or you could sit back, relax, choose freeride and enjoy the show.
I didn’t post this in the Games Blog, since Audiosurf is technically not a Game, but more of an Application; and i posted my last Applications here, too. (that, and i feel that the front page should have some goodies, too ^_^ )

Audiosurf is located in The Forge, the Subforum from The Arcade.
I’ll eagerly await your comments and thoughts in The Forge, and i think everybody should try this out. 
The Port of Audiosurf has still some very minor Bugs, and i hope i can iron them out in time.
If you like Audiosurf please consider buying it, it only costs around 10$ (i have bought it for 9.99€ from STEAM)

hey, zero. i have been running this port of audiosurf on my mac desktop and i love it, but i have encountered a problem on upgrading to snow leopard, unfortunately the game force quits every time i open it now. would you be able to post a snow leopard friendly version?

I will update the Audiosurf port again when we have a fully functional wrapper that works with Snow Leopard.
The CX Wrapper doesn’t work as of now, and doh123’s CXSkin and WineSkin have some problems with the Window System and OpenGL, but they are getting better.
I really like this game as well, and will try some things to make a standalone app that works with SL again, in the meantime you can run it with the normal CrossOver.

sadly no Wrapper works with Audiosurf anymore.
All have serious problems with the Audiosurf Launcher.
I can get the Game running with a special Wrapper, but it crashes when you start playing.

So this no longer works on any OS with mac?

It works as it is (CX Wrapper) in Tiger and Leopard.
Just not in Snow Leopard, since Apple changed quite a lot in their new OS.
