I think the question I asked last time is stupid, and not sure why I asked it. Any simple app that doesn’t need OpenGL should be fine in a window.. so might as well use XQuartz, and not a custom built server that can do fullscreen and resolution switching…

Today I spent some of the day building XQuartz 2.4 into Wineskin, and it works really well… XQuartz 2.4 runs nicely on Snow Leopard, better than the built in Apple version, not sure why they are not releasing it, and waiting until 2.4.1…. anyways, I have to redo the apps inside still (changing the structure around a little) before I put a version up for download.  I also got the idea from Doc to just use Explorer for an Installer.app, which would be better… so gonna look at the Installer just launching explorer so you can browse and find and run any kind of setups or patches.
