A lot of people requested that we should add some other languages besides English.
Especially a lot of Russians and Germans don’t know english very well and tend to look elsewhere for porting related materials, so this could keep them here and not scare them away.
In the Gaming forum is now a new section with more languages.

This will only be a test for a couple of months to see if people really have a use for said sections, but if it works out we’ll let it stay there.
This will of course make moderating these sections a bit harder, because of the language barrier for users and moderators.

Of course this can cut the community of the forum a bit as well, since we’re not that big and we should stay with one language to minimize the confusion and complexity for the users.

The language subsections were ordered and modeled after the visitors on our site, which can be viewed by clicking at the clustermaps map at the bottom of the Forum.

The majority of the forum will stay like it is now.

P.S.: other languages can get added, too; but only if there are enough people who want to talk to each other in their language
