Shadowman [Intel CrossOver]

Posted in Action , CXSkin

Shadow Man is a video game developed by Acclaim Studios Teesside and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was designed by Guy Miller and Simon Phipps and is loosely based on the Shadowman comic book series published by Valiant Comics.

Shadow Man has many varying themes and settings, from swampland just outside of New Orleans to barren wastelands in Deadside, from an underground railway station in London to blood-soaked slaughter-rooms in Asylum. The overall mood and atmosphere of the game is very dark and often violent. The music was composed by Tim Haywood.

This is a CXSkin port, so it should work flawlessly on any Intel Mac with OSX 10.4 – 10.6.

Notes:
CD-check has been compromised. Widescreen resolutions are supported.

Known Issues:
On some setups the inventory menu can be messed up – I couldn’t figure out what causes this – if your machine is affected please leave a note. Also mouse-control is pretty unresponsive and has been disabled – use the keyboard to steer your character – it works just as well.

Pics:

Special thanks go to eazery for his original port.

Please note that this game has not been tested on Macs with GMA 950 chips, but it is likely to work.
