Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, abbreviated as Bloodlines or VTMB, is a computer role-playing game for Windows developed by Troika Games in 2004. Like Activision’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption, Bloodlines is set in White Wolf, Inc.’s Vampire: The Masquerade universe also known as the World of Darkness (WoD), but it is not a sequel to the earlier game. The game allows the player to choose one of several different vampire clans and progress through the game according to the different strengths and weaknesses of the player’s character, as in its paper and pencil role playing origins.
Notes:
This game was ripped from the steam release and a widescreen patch has been applied for your convenience: supported resolutions are 1024×768, 1280×800, 1440×900, 1680×1050
If you’re on a XEON system download the patched engine.dll over here:
Known Issues:
Due to time constraints I wasn’t able to test this release beyond the first few levels. It crashed for me once while loading but this seems to occur only sporadic.
The game is very playable however it appears that when you quit the game in certain levels the screen stays black and the app is not responding.
If this should happen, hit Alt-Cmd-Esc to exit back to the Desktop.
Please note that this game has not been tested on Macs with GMA 950 chips.
