Moorhuhn (distributed as Crazy Chicken in English-speaking countries) is a German casual game franchise for PCs and the Nintendo DS. It consists of more than 30 games, the first of which – a shoot ‘em up – was Germany’s most popular computer game in the early 2000s.
The Moorhuhn character is a brainchild of Ingo Mesche. The game (now distributed as Die Original Moorhuhn Jagd) was developed by the Dutch Witan studios, the Art Department advertising agency and Ingo Mesche as an advertisement for Johnnie Walker whisky in 1999. The game’s objective was to shoot down, through a point-and-click interface, as many cartoonish “swamp chickens” (German: Moorhühner; literally “moorhens”, ie. willow grouses) as possible in 90 seconds.

From 2000 onwards the game was officially made available for download by Art Department. It became wildly popular in German-speaking Europe, to the point of being denounced in the media as a threat to the bottom line of businesses, on account of the number of hours wasted by employees playing the game.

Included are Moorhuhn Shooter games 1, 2, 3, Winter Edition, X, Wanted and Piraten as well as the racing games Moorhuhn Kart 1 & 2.

Unreal Tournament is a first-person shooter (FPS) video game co- developed by Epic Games and Digital Extremes. The game is based on the same technology that powered Unreal, but the design of UT shifted the series’ focus to competitive multiplayer action, a trend at the time: id Software’s Quake III Arena was released only ten days later.

At the beginning, you have to play classic deathmatch rounds. After you have successfully won some of them, a new game mode becomes available, domination. In domination there are about 3 or 4 different areas scattered around the map to be controlled by your team. For a certain amount of seconds you control one area, a point is added to your score. The more areas you control, the faster your team’s score rises. When you or the other team reaches a certain score, the game is over. The 3rd mode is called capture the flag, every team has a flag to defend and tries to capture the other team’s flag to score a point.

All these modes are either playable in single or multiplayer mode. If playing alone, you have a large menu with orders you can give your bots. Also, all weapons were redesigned, and some new ones are added.

Notes:
Set resolution is 1280×800. Other widescreen resolutions are supported. CD-check has been compromised. Nothing was ripped. As a bonus almost 10 GB of additional content has been installed including the most popular third party mods, mappacks, skins and gametypes.
Both CXSkin and Cider launchers are included – The Cider ports feature graphically enhanced Shader 2.0 effects.

Known Issues:
None as of yet.
PS: Leave all apps in their original location or they won’t work!

Need for Speed is back with more! Drive over 80 different Porsches, from the first 356 Ferdinand to the 2000 911 Turbo over multiple tracks. Some tracks have alternate paths. Others are rally tracks where you go from one end of the track to the other instead of doing circuit racing.
Two completely different single-player modes available. First, there’s factory driver, which have you join Porsche as a test driver. As you complete different challenges, which can vary from doing specific manoeuvres in pre-alloted time to racing fellow drivers, you will make your way up to Ace Test Driver. Second, there’s Evolution, which is the “career mode”, you start with enough money to buy one 356, and start racing. As you win races, time will pass, new cars will become available, or you can peruse the used car market. Buy/repair/sell cars, win races, buy enhancement parts for your car, and make your way to the end of the modern era…

Notes:
Set resolution is 1024×768. CD-check has been compromised – Widescreen resolutions are not supported. A glide wrapper has been installed. Graphical glitches and mouse issues have been fully resolved. Videos and music are included – nothing was ripped. Enjoy!

Known Issues:
Multiplayer has not been tested and will probably not work – Performance issues like stuttering may occur on CoreDuo machines – a Core2Duo system is recommended for fluid gameplay.

Half-Life is a science fiction first-person shooter video game developed by Valve Software, the company’s debut product and the first in the Half-Life series.
In Half-Life, players assume the role of Dr. Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist who must fight his way out of a secret underground research facility, whose research and experiments into teleportation technology have gone disastrously wrong.
The game had its first major public appearance at the 1997 Electronic Entertainment Expo. Designed for Windows, the game uses a heavily modified version of the Quake engine called GoldSrc.
On its release, critics hailed its overall presentation and numerous scripted sequences, and it won over 50 PC Game of the Year awards. Its gameplay influenced the design of first-person shooters for years after its release, and it is widely considered to be one of the greatest computer games of all time.

Notes:
This is my personal tribute to this epic FPS classic. The GoldSrc Anthology release includes all important official and non-official modifications as well as various other texture and model enhancements. Steam is not required for playing these games – the ports are based on the latest HL client available which fully supports online playablilty. Also a SETTI masterserver file has been added for your convenience.
Both Cider and CXEx launcher have been included in the pack. I recommend using the ones that perform best on your system setup.

PS: If you have a network filter installed like Little Snitch for example, be sure to allow all connections or otherwise you will get a WSAEHOSTDOWN error!

None as of yet.

Star Trek: Voyager – Elite Force is a first-person shooter video game developed by Raven Software and published by Activision. The game is set in the Star Trek universe, specifically relating to the fourth Star Trek television series, Star Trek: Voyager. The dates in the game place Elite Force’s plot late in Voyager’s sixth season. The player assumes the role of Ensign Alex Munro, a member of the Hazard Team, a new elite security section created to deal with particularly dangerous and hostile away missions. The game’s plot focuses on the USS Voyager being trapped in a starship graveyard, heavily damaged and under attack from a variety of hostile factions. The Hazard Team is tasked with protecting Voyager as repairs are made, and investigating the cause of their entrapment.

Notes:
The game uses a custom widescreen resolution (1280×800). If you want to change that you have to edit autoexec.cfg which is located in the BaseEF dir accordingly.
The official expansion pack has been installed as well as many additional Single and Multiplayer modifications and a huge Holomatch map, mod & skins collection. Amongst them popular mods like Colony 7, Starfleet Tournament, Starbase 11 and RPG-X2.
Both Cider and CXSkin launchers have been included with this pack so you can choose and see which ones work best for you – I recommend using the Cider apps for fluid gameplay, however startup delays may occur.

A sequel to the original two classics from Atari, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 puts you in the role of an amusement park manager. The game allows you to design to overall look of the park, the various attractions, and of course – the roller coasters themselves. The financial engine is extremely powerful and diverse, with many decisions for you to take, from entrance fees to the amount of pickles served on the burgers. There’s a large array of visitors, including all ages and even allowing you to build your family and send it to the park.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 features two methods of gameplay. In career mode, players must complete predetermined objectives in predesigned scenarios. In the new sandbox mode, players have unlimited time and money to create their own custom parks. New features include the ability to import and export custom attractions, design custom scenarios and peeps, as well as design an in-game recorder and a fully three dimensional world players can view from all angles.

Continuing the series after seven years, Simon the Sorcerer 3D marks the return of the young spellcaster. The game is a direct sequel to Simon the Sorcerer 2, and starts precisely where the second game ended: Simon is imprisoned in Sordid’s body… At the beginning of the game, the evil wizard Sordid is free again. He is now selling a mind-changing cola and you must stop him, and this time, unlike in the first two games, also save the world.

Many familiar characters from the two previous games are back, and so is Simon himself with his red cloak (and not the violet clothes from the first game). The classic adventure gameplay is based mainly on wacky puzzles, like the first two games, but the game is now entirely rendered in a 3D world. There are some action sequences, less linearity in the plot, and Simon can die. Besides, some puzzles can only be solved in a 3D environment and require extensive exploration.

Notes:
Set resolution is 1024×768. Widescreen resolutions are not supported. CD-check has been compromised. Both Glide and Direct3D render options are available and functional though I recommend sticking to the D3D version for better compatibility.
Savegames are included.

Known Issues:
None as of yet.

Requirements:
OS version: 10.4.11
Processor type(s) & speed: Intel Core Solo 1.5 Ghz
RAM minimum: 1024

Rollcage is a fast, furious 3D racing game from Psygnosis, combining elements from Death Rally with elements from Bullfrog’s classic Hi Octane: Race five other drivers in an immersive 3D environment while shooting at your peers and avoiding their retaliation.
You have a wide selection of tracks and cars, along with options for multiplayer gaming and a vast array of configuration options. Cars can drive up walls, flip over, and continue driving. This makes for a very quick and fluid gameplay unlike any other at the time of this game’s release

This is a Wineskin 2.0 RC2 port, so it should work flawlessly on any Intel
Mac with OSX 10.5 – 10.6.

Ignition is an action packed racing game viewed from above and slightly behind the player. The cars on offer range from police car and VW Beetle to school bus and truck, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses – trying to win with the bus, which involves blocking everyone behind the hideously slow vehicle for 3 laps, is perhaps the ultimate challenge.

Initially there are 5 tracks available, with practice and single race modes as well as full championship at 3 levels – winning each of the first 2 levels unlocks an extra track. They all have hazards running through them, and sections where you must make a split-second choice between the safer route and the risky but potentially rewarding one. Multiplayer can be done via network or by split-screen – in a break with convention the screen is split vertically rather than horizontally.

Notes:
Set resolution is 1280×800. Other widescreen resolutions are supported. CD-check has been compromised. Multiplayer has not been tested. A Glide Wrapper has been installed – You can configure its settings via the custom “Glide Config” launcher that is loacted inside the app package.

Killer Loop (also known as MagForce Racing) is a futuristic racing game released in 1999. It was developed by VCC Entertainment and published by Crave Entertainment.

The game takes place in a future where gasoline powered vehicles and paved roads have been replaced with electromagnetic vehicles and metal highways. Such vehicles are used for intense racing where vehicles could drive on bending, twisting tracks. The player has the option to have automatic or manual assistance on using their vehicle’s magnets to drive on higher areas. The player could also use power-ups against other opponents picked up from the tracks. Race tracks included Moscow, Mars, Hawaii, the Himalyas, Needle Rock and the Orbital Wharf space station.

Notes:
Set resolution is 1024×768. A Glide wrapper has been installed, Widescreen resolutions are supported. Use the inlcuded Glide Config.app located inside the app package to configure the resolution settings. CD-check has been compromised. Multiplayer has not been tested. Cutscene Videos are included and fully functional – nothing was ripped.
