Might and Magic 7 Game information

System Requirements:
    x86 Mac
    Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.6
Any intel Mac specs should be able to run this... hopefully...
Information:
â€⢠Please read the included readme.txt file for full instructions on getting this to work.
â€⢠This should work with any CD cracked version of Might and Magic 7.
â€⢠it will most likely work for you as well if you do the whole CD install and have the CD in the drive when you play.
    â€⢠A no-cd crack is included
â€⢠by default the game is set to run fullscreen at 640x480.  The game is made for 640x480 so other resolutions will not work right.
â€⢠If you want to switch between window and fullscreen, you must exit the game, and go in the package contents and run the ScreenOptions.app program.  Select either rootless (windowed) or fullscreen at 640x480... both options should work fine.... then start the game.
Might and Magic 1 through 5 are DOS base (and better Might and Magic games), and available as a single app here...

Amazing, one of my favourite games in the good old days.
Thanks.
Thank you very much for this.  I'd been having a lot of trouble installing this program via CrossOver/Wine.  This wrapper works beautifully.

Initially, I did have a bit of trouble with it.  Attempting to run the app resulted in a crash with an error message saying the desktop needed to be in 16-bit color mode.  This crash persisted even after changing the desktop to 16-bit color depth.

However, after downloading an unofficial xp/vista patch for M&M VII, it worked perfectly.
great stuff, now i can relive my adolescence! thanks!
When I run it, it changes the screen resolution and all, but before the program can run it says "Path not found" and closes. The only way I've been able to run the game is every time I go to open it, I have to "install" a patch for the game, which at the end, starts the configuration panel, and I can get to the game from there...

There must be a more efficient way, right? I know absolutely NOTHING about coding, so if you give me a line of code to add or something, if you could be REALLY specific about where to put it, I'd appreciate it!
I'm having trouble installing,
- MM7 Game - File not found
- I don't know what file or program to open with the WS-Installer.app

I would assume the problems are directly related... Could someone help out a clueless person?
I'm having the same problem as the other users. Help please!
anyone know if this works with the GOG version?  I have this game somewhere, but can't find the CD!
Could some-one re-up???

THANKS!
I manage to install and start the game from go. however, once the start screen comes up it sort of shrinks to the right lower corner of my screen, so i can only see lower right corner of the start screen pointing me to exit :(
also can't seem to download the wrapper again, download link sends me to strange places :S
