Please vote for the Quality of this Port / Wrapper, not for the Game or Application!
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms or TA:K is a medieval fantasy real time strategy game created and released by Cavedog Entertainment on June 25, 1999.
It was the anticipated second installment of the Total Annihilation franchise. Although the game was neither a prequel nor a sequel to the original Total Annihilation game, comparisons between the two games were inevitable. There were numerous thematic and design differences between Total Annihilation and Total Annihilation: Kingdoms.
Please note that this wrapper will work best with the gamefiles from the full port which can be found in the full games section of the forum.
To install the gamesfiles, right-click on the application package and select "Show Package Contents" from the menu.
Then follow the red-marked folders until you see the gamefolder - place the PC gamefiles inside this folder and you are good to go.
This is a WineSkin port, so it should work flawlessly on any Intel Mac with OSX 10.4 - 10.6.
Notes:
Set resolution is 1280x800. CD-check has been compromised. Vids are fully working. Widescreen resolutions are supported. Resolution switcing works now in WineSkin RC7!
Known Issues:
None as of yet.
Special thanks go to eazery for his original port.
Please note that this game has not been tested on Macs with GMA 950 chips, but it is likely to work.
cheers

I installed TAK and the expansion, The Iron Plague, in Windows, and then patched to v3.1BB. This wrapper won't work unless you have both installed and use the patch. Then I used a NoCD crack, and finally copied the contents of the game folder into the TAK folder inside the package.
To get the videos to work, I had to copy them from the Movies folder on the CD into the Movies folder inside the package.
Works great!
