Personal Notes:
How to add/remove mods:
I've included a (very) simple automator script that opens up the data folder, plugins.txt, and deletes your Oblivion Preferences folder. This doesn't install mods for you, it just speeds up the manual process of adding and removing mods. All you have to do is replace the folder/file locations in the automator script with your own by dragging and dropping, then deleting the old folder/file locations. After that, run it, and if it works, save it as an app.

I know there is already an existing port, but some people have been wanting a wrapper for it so they don't have to download everything.

Status: GREEN Fully Playable

Game Description:
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (often referenced as Oblivion) is a single-player role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios, and published by Bethesda Softworks and the Take-Two Interactive subsidiary 2K Games.
Oblivion's main story revolves around the player character's efforts to thwart a fanatical cult who plan to open the gates to a hellish realm called Oblivion and unleash its horrors on the mortal world. The game continues the open-world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely. Developers opted for a tighter pacing and greater plot focus than in past titles.
Development for Oblivion began in 2002, directly after the release of Morrowind. In order to achieve their goals of designing "cutting-edge graphics" and creating a more believable environment, Bethesda made use of an improved Havok physics engine; high dynamic range lighting; procedural content generation tools that allowed developers to quickly create detailed terrains; and the Radiant AI system, which allows non-player characters (NPCs) to make choices and engage in behaviors more complex than in past titles. The game was developed with fully voiced dialogue—a first for the series—and features the music of BAFTA-award-winning composer Jeremy Soule.

quit down your spamming or you'll get a warning
I've sent you a way to open .7z files via PM.

I've deleted the other 10 posts here from you.
about Oblivion and HDR (I can confirm that this works at least for newer ATI cards with Cider 5413):

If you get a black screen when activating HDR you can try the following (as described at http://www.uesp.net/...enders_as_black):

"Replace c:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Shaders\shaderpackage002.sdp with a different shader model. (make a backup first! and use a link rather than copying the file: 'mv shaderpackage002.sdp shaderpackage002.sdp.bak; ln -s shaderpackage019.sdp shaderpackage002.sdp') This author uses shaderpackage019.sdp with an nvidia GeForce 9800. Other shaderpackages will work; some experimentation may be required if shaderpackage019.sdp does not work for you. Once that's done, enable 3.0 shaders in Oblivion.ini: bAllow30Shaders=1" (the number 002 in the filename above is an example you must use the number shown in your Rendererinfo.txt as "Shader packet")
Does this work with the Steam version?
I really need to know :I
Hey does anybody get the glitch when you kill someone, it just freezes for a second then is normal? I want to know if I need to change something or if it is just my computer, thanks :)

I've made a version that is steam compatible on this forum. (http://portingteam.c...eam-compatible/)
This version here might work too, but then you have to modify it.

It's a sound issue. I haven't had it on my port, but I got a reply from one user that had, it might be how sound is configured and you can probably edit the oblivion.ini
In worst case you can disable music.

@Nightblaze, it's no way my intention to "steal" people to use my port instead of yours, but since it seems you aren't active here anymore (at least i think so).
anyone ever get that mod manager to work?
hi i have this problem ...... in the game are a lot of white  point... like an old tv... someone have an idea how to solve?   sorry my english
how do you stop the freezes when you kill an enemy/ load new areas? whenever you kill something, the game stutters for a few seconds. same when a new cell or something is loading. i am still in the starting dungeon but i think these problems will just get worse if i get out into the open...
sorry i guess i just reposted something someone else did. do u really have to turn off music to quit the freezing??? i actually like the music because i use a mod called morroblivion and the morrowind music is really good.
p.s.
how do i access the data files menu?
I used to play this on a PS3, I recently have become disillusioned with lots of newer RPGs and thought I would go back to Oblivion but run the PC version this time. I downloaded this wrapper and proceeded to install the game into the wrapper.

I have the game up and running but I keep getting momentary game freezes, I have turned the music off in the .ini file but still the game does the freezing.

Is there an answer to this or another wrapper I can use ?
