The Prince of Persia makes his way home to Babylon, bearing with him Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the Palace - only to see her murdered by a powerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. Cast to the streets, hunted as a fugitive, the Prince soon discovers that the Sands have tainted him, too. They have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him...
Personal Notes
I have included the widescreen patched executables, just choose your desired aspect ratio a and place the patched files in the game directory. I've noticed fluctuations in the gameplay from time to time and a few registry entries cleared up the issues. If you notice slow gameplay download the fixed registry entries and extract into the root folder of the wrapper.
I am well aware that there is an official Cider port of this game but I was not able to get it to work in the copy that is available in the cider wrappers section (I wasn't using a retail copy) so I went with CXZ porter to do the job.
Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard / Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
- CPU: Intel Core Solo Processor
- RAM: 1024 MB
- Video: ATI X1600 or eqivalent
- Apple's X11 must be installed
- about 1.5 GB Hard Drive Space required
Known Issues:
None that I've yet come across.
Installation:
Use the installer located on the inside of the wrapper to install your copy directly into the wrapper or use another means (crossover / parallels / windows) and drop the game files in Contents > root > drive_c > Program Files > Ubisoft > Prince of Persia T2T >
Instructions to Overcome the Mouse Issue:
When you download the wrapper the mouse should work however, on some systems when the Wineskin engine configures to it for the time it seems some files within the engine are compromised and revert back to an original state. The file located below is the wswine.bundle file that provides the translation of the API's so Mac OS X understands it.
I've patched the Wine source before the build and created an engine that will run quite a few games sufficiently that otherwise would not work, even with proper raw support in the later builds. This engine is patched with the raw3dinput as well as a patch that was written by a member here known as mr-lundis which provides some dinput support to certain games that need it.
Download the file below and then extract the wswine.bundle
Place the extracted file in Right Click --> Show Package Contents --> Contents > Frameworks
Click YES when it asks you if you want to replace the file.
Try it again....if it still will not work then extract the wswine.bundle again
this time simply Right Click on the engine and choose Show Package Contents
Follow the path of lib > wine > dinput.dll.so....copy dinput.dll.so
Now right click on the wswine.bundle inside the The Hell in Vietnam wrapper and show package contents
Follow the same path of lib > wine and paste the dinput.dll.so inside the wine folder.
Close out the package contents of the wswine.bundle....stay inside the wrapper
Follow the path Contents > Resources > user.reg, open this file using a text editor
Scroll down until you see [Software//Wine//DirectInput]
Directly below this reg entry should follow the reg key of "MouseWarpOverride"="force_edge"

Thanks, somebody can explain me how to install it on my macbook aluminum 2.0ghzhttp://forum.porting...af98e31&t=5537#
there are tonnes of threads available in the help section that explain how to install windows software into the wrappers....if you don't have access it means you have to post more to gain access and SPAM is not tolerated.
it doesn't work on mine for some reason and it gives that my video card memory is 0 mb.
any reason as to why this might be happening?
thanx

Hello.
My question is: Is the ATI X1600 eqivalent to a Nvidia 9400m? So will this Game run on it smoothly?
