Grid is a true evolution for Codemasters' acclaimed racing series, which first appeared as the TOCA (DTM/V8) Touring Car games (1997-2000) and became the TOCA (DTM/V8) Race Driver series (2002-2006). Challenging players to become the number one race driver in a new world of exhilarating motorsport, Race Driver: Grid takes players on a tour like never before; to beautifully realized racing locations through Europe, the U.S., Japan and beyond. The game will feature the most extensive range of events in the series, combining official circuit-based championships with road races and urban street competitions.

Personal Notes:
PLEASE follow the installation instructions below! This wrapper has a VERY weird setup, UNLIKE anyone you've probably ever used!

Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard / Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
- RAM: 2048 MB
- Video: nVidia 8xxx Series or AMD 4xxx Series Video Card recommended
- Apple's X11 must be installed
- 11GB Hard Drive Space required

GMA and ATI were not tested. Please post results if you do test.

Known Issues:
- Game crashes when quitting.
- Settings graphics to high or ultra may lead to GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY. You are free to experiment with graphics settings, but please share your results here!
- This may NOT work with less than 4GB of RAM. It is not due to requirements, but due to a patch I applied in Wine's source. If it does not, tell me how much RAM you got and I'll upload a 2GB min version as soon as I have the time to make one.

Installation - PLEASE follow the instructions carefully!
0. Skip to 6 if you have the game installed in Parallels (or similar) or in Bootcamp
1. Download the wrapper and duplicate it so you have two.
2. Install the game in one of them using the wineskin installer.
3. Install the Official Patch 1.3. Then apply NO-DVD crack (sorry copy protection doesn't work)
4. Open the Contents of both wrappers. Move the "Codemasters" directory from the one were you installed the game to the empty one's Program Files
5. Delete the first one, it's not needed anymore.
6. Start the game. It may only render in an area of your screen. Don't worry.
7. Go to the game's display settings. Set your desired resolution. Hit Left Shift and set everything to the lowest possible setting.
8. Do NOT enable antialias or vsync.
9. Exit this screen. DO NOT restart when asked to do so.
10. Go to audio settings now. Set to Hardware Mode. Exit screen, again, do NOT restart.
11. Quit the game. It WILL freeze. CMD+Q to exit to the desktop, then launch Wineskin and Kill all wine processes.
12. Start the game. Off you go, have fun!
