EDIT: I've made a new port, with ciderX. Its runs much better! Much better performance! You may notice that the first 2 minutes it do not run good, but give it time to warm up, then its fully playable!

In the first level, the lag spikes are pretty heavy, but the other levels it is not. I need some others to test its performance. (CXZ) Sorry for bad english..
Description:
No levels. No load times. Just never-ending action that doesn't stop until you leave the game! Tony Hawk's American Wasteland gives you - for the first time ever in a Hawk game - the freedom to skate, or bike, throughout a rich, expansive open environment. Once you arrive in Los Angeles, the vast city that gave birth to skate culture, the sky's the limit as you progress through the Wasteland story and choose missions that will have you immersed in the action without ever skating the same line twice! Known issues:
The lag spikes. Maybe its just my computer Edit: The CiderX port prevented that.
The ciderX port, when you launch it, there is just black screen, just press space a couple times!
Installation:
The ciderX port comes in a 7zip. The unarchiver extract its good.
First install the game in another folder, not in the wrapper! When your game is installed, open its location, and find
the folder called data. Place the "data" folder in the wrappers C drive, then aspyr, then THAW, then Game. Place the data folder in: c_drive/Program Files/Aspyr/THAW/Game.
Then run the game. . When your done, press save settings and quit. Then you go to the wrapper contents, and delete the info.plist, and rename the info2.plist to info.plist. Then run the game! (and again a little menu pops up, you can choose you custom screen resolution. When you wanna play the game, press the "Patch and play" button.
In the CiderX version, when you run it, a menu comes up. Run the option: Launch me first. Then set you screen resolution, and your controls in the control tab. Then quit. Now Launch the second for a custom screen resolution, then press quit (optional). Then run the THAW!
Thats the instructions for the older port.

Do get that damn data folder (), download the DVD version on piratebay, not the one with 5cds in. ONly one DVD.
Install that via bootcamp, another computer, something that runs windows!
Take the data folder, into the wrapper, like in the video, and run it!
And sorry for not making a new wrapper!
Or just buy the game! I wont be responsible for ya'll pirating:P

how do u install the pc version?
it doesnt work !!! i got the data file in the game and all when i press laun me first/second it doesnt respond and i have to force quit and when i press play it justs says
"Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000004 at address 0x0040a115.

I hope this comment will be answered since the maker of the wrapper hasn't been online since september 12th but i can't seem to change the button configuration and i can't find the button to return the menu (both escape and enter won't work) i hope there is a fix for this!
If you guys want to change button configuration and cant seem to do so, go manually into contents of wrapper so go into THAW/Contents/c_drive/Program Files/Aspyr/THAW/Game and in that folder, startup THAWLauncher (2).exe <-- it will prompt you to a settings window, once that's done click on "Patch and Play". there is one problem though, i do that and i can get to play the game with the given settings, but these settings are never saved so i have to start the game through the launcher every time :/

I did copy the data folder in the wrapper and then I opened the Wrapper. The little launcher thingy opens and till then is everything fine. If I click "Play" the game starts, but is just blinking blue and black. Then an error message appears with something like "unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000something to 0xsomething. And if I click "Launch me first" or "Launch me second" they both just don't work. Nothing opens. I'm using the CiderX wrapper on a Macbook Pro with Intel HD. Does it just don't work on iHD or is just something false configured?
