Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (commonly abbreviated as GTA: SA, GTA: San Andreas or San Andreas) is a sandbox-style action-adventure computer and video game developed by Rockstar North. It is the third 3D game in the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise, the fifth original console release and eighth game overall. Originally released for the PlayStation 2 in October 2004, the game has since been ported to the Xbox and Microsoft Windows (PC), and has received wide acclaim and high sales figures on all three platforms, and is the highest selling game of all time on PlayStation 2. It was made available on Steam on January 4, 2008. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was succeeded by Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and was preceded by Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Personal Notes:
GTA San Andreas multiplayer and singleplayer! Great game!

Notice: This is not SA:MP, but other mod called MTA. You can find information about MTA here

System Requirements:
1GHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon Processor
256MB of RAM
8x DVD-ROM Drive
3.6 GB of free Hard Disk space for a minimal install
64MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce3" or better)
DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound CardKeyboard & Mouse
OS: Minimum 10.5.7 and up. (need testing)

Known Issues:
Do not rename the wrapper! Its name should be GTAMTA.

Installation:
Put your game in c_drive/Programs files/ Rockstar/GTA San AndreasWhen you did extract the zip, (And the .tar) file, you will see a file called MTA.exe. Move that to your desktop. Then run Xinstaller (from the wrapper content) and locate the MTA.exe file that you just moved to your desktop.

As soon as i use the xinstaller to open the MTSA.exe the installer closes and nothing happens? :(
ferdyfist,I have downloaded this,I followed your steps but it isn't working,The icon of GTAMTA flickers when I see it via Finder...
What's wrong???

REname the wrapper to GTASAMTA, maybe that helps:)
I renamed but still it closes the installer, the GTAMTA icon bounces then fades away :(
I'm gonna make a new wrapper then.
Please that would be great :D

Hahah true!
Sorry to pester you, Freddy, but hows the revised edition going?

I am having similar apparent issues as RyanMonkey7, but instead of closing, the Xinstaller hangs.

I am very keen to have either MTA or SA:MP working on my mac, as i used to host an SA:MP server (or more specifically, rent some server space) a couple of years ago in my PC days and i have suddenly gotten it into my head to start up a new one again... To be honest, i have never playing MTA, and from what i have read and seen, it seems to be better. So i am glad that its MTA you've ported, rather than SA:MP, and i would also like to say thank you for the time and effort you've invested in this.
