Installation

THESE INSTRUCTIONS CURRENTLY DO NOT WORK!!!  DO NOT USE THEM!!!  I WILL FIX THEM SOON!!!

For Cider Wrapper!

Skyrim INstallation Instructions - I DO NOT SUPPORT PIRACY!!!  PLEASE OWN A COY OF THE GAME BEFORE DOING THIS!!!

1. Finish downloading the torrent called The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim 2012-Razor1911 or any other cracked Razor1911 version of the game

2. Keep the file called skyrimcider7606fixed.zip just in case all else fails

3. Download Wineskin Winery from here Wineskin Winery 1.6 and make a wrapper using the latest engine and call it SkyrimInstallation

4. Find Skyrim Installion in Your User -> Applications -> Wineskin and do "Show Package Contents" on the SkyrimInstallation

5. Once in "Show Package Contents" click on "Wineskin"

6. Click "Install Software"

7. Click "Choose Setup Executable"

8. Select the setup.exe from /Users/Your Usernamel/Desktop/Downloads/The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim 2012-Razor1911/setup.exe and proceed with the installation till it is finished! Desktop -> downloads -> razor elder scrolls folder -> setup.exe

9. Copy the files in Desktop -> downloads -> razor elder scroll folder -> Razor1911 folder

10. Paste them into your Wineskin installation at Your User -> Applications -> Wineskin -> Skyrim application -> Contents -> Resources -> drive_c -> Program Files -> The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

You have now successfully installed TESV Skyrim!

NOW YOU MUST MAKE IT WORK IN CIDER!!!

11. Open skyrimcider7606fixed.zip in your downloads folder if you haven't already done so

12. Right click and show package contents of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim (This is located in your downloads folder)

13. Go to Desktop -> Skyrim folder (not the razor one, the other one) -> Skyrim Application (not the preferences one as that is ONLY for changing graphics if the game is running too slow) -> Contents -> c_drive -> Program Files -> The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

14. Drag and drop the CONTENTS of your "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim" folder FROM THE SkyrimInstallation located at Your User -> Applications -> Wineskin and do "Show Package Contents" on the SkyrimInstallation -> drive_c -> Program Files (There maybe be one that says bethesda or something before the Skyrim folder but make your way to "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim" folder and copy the CONTENTS FROM THERE  to the CIDER VERSION mentioned in steps 8-10 which is here
Desktop -> Skyrim folder (not the razor one, the other one) -> Skyrim Application (not the preferences one as that is ONLY for changing graphics if the game is running too slow) -> Contents -> c_drive -> Program Files -> The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

15. Play the game!!!

Changing Video Settings
This can be done through the "Skyrim Preferences" application
The settings will go back to default when you relaunch the "System Preferences" app so do don't think that they weren't changed before.  You must always make the change when you start up this app!!!

At 6 AM reporting, reloaded update 9 is working with cider wrapper 7606. For those having troubles to update - do not copy folders, manually copy instead files in the respective folders... [refer to the folder DATA and the subfolders]. This is MAC OS X 10.6.8.

HELP!!!!!!
I have downloaded skyrim patch 1.5 and the wrapper but now i need to play it without steam. Can anyone help? Can someone point me in the direction of a crack that I can use on skyrim 1.5? I have been searching for weeks now and have had no luck. I actually own the game soI have no legal problems downloading a cracker version of patch 1.5 off of rapidshare or pirate bay. CAN SOMEONE HELP!?!?!??!?!?!

I've followed the instructions in the tutorial and have the razor version downloaded from TPB (having previously purchased the game elsewhere). I suppose my question is: I think the razor version is Steam? Or has to do with Steam? So I need to unlock it in some kind of way? I've moved the game files into (what should be..) the proper directory, but I still get nothing. So what do I need to do to mount or open up the game files? Thanks in advance.

I've installed the update 4 and then the update 5 but in both cases I had to delete the Data/Update.bsa and Data/Update.esm
Indeed, with these files the games launches, (but the sâsh screen isn't shown) then quit.

Is this normal or do I have to do something ?

Ok so I downloaded the wrapper but i have no idea where to go from here. how do I get to /Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim? How do I reach this file or whatever it is? Please answer.

Welp, for some reason now I was playing the game last night and Cider itself crashed. Ever since then the game has been opening with the flickering screen in a small section at the lower left hand corner of the screen. Obviously this is the %USERPROFILE% folder, but it's been working for a few months now with no issues. I figured it might be corrupted data.

I've gone through and reinstalled the entire game, redownloaded the port, erased all existence of mods, etc. to no avail. It will simply not recognize the fact that the folder is present and I can't figure out what the common denominator is here having reinstalled every single file and the problem still persists.
