Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (KotOR II) is a role playing video game released for the Xbox and Microsoft Windows. The Xbox version of this sequel to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was released on December 6, 2004, while the Windows version was released on February 8, 2005. It was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The music score was composed by Mark Griskey

minimum System Requirements:

Mac OS X 10.5.8
Intel Core Solo
256 MB RAM
Video RAM: 32 MB
4.4 GB HDD free space

Installation:

1.) Install the Game via Bootcamp/VMware/with the Wineskin Installer
2.) no-cd patch the Game (gamecopyworld)
4.) Make a right click at the Wrapper and click show package contents.
5.) Go to C_drive/Program Files
6.) And copy your GAME FOLDER folder into the Program Files folder

alternatively, you can use my Full Game Backup files
(enable view of Game Backup files in your User settings)

So if I'm understanding this correctly, we need the WINDOWS kotor 2 exe file, which we use wineskin to install, and then add the folder to the cdrive etc inside the wrapper?

and replace with the no cd hack. anyone have a link on where to get that?

Update to my last post: I got it installed and its been working great (movies sometimes are a little iffy). I got to the section of the game on Dxun, and now everytime I try to transit back to the ebon hawk I get a "swkotor2.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close" message. Now its doing it whenever I try to run the game.

Any idea how to fix that?

So far so good, I didn't know that you can install windows applications with wineskin without actually having bootcamp or windows. Only strange thing is when I select the cd drive in between CDs, the letter keeps changing.

Works beautifully with very few minor bugs that go away on their own. Never thought I'd get much use out of my KOTOR II game after I got a mac, you rock!

I have no idea if you've played through the entire game and had any problems or not, but I can't get past the loading screen right before my party members are about to board GOTO's yacht. I get an error screen that says the game has encountered a serious error, which could be due to the game itself, or wine. Anything similar happen to you? Only bug I've encountered this whole time.

Every time i try to click on the install wineskin thing, it goes through all of the highlighted stuff. but then when i get to the final place to install, it wont let me, everything is faded like i cant click on it

How do I install the no cd patch? I downloaded it, but don't know what to do from there. The game is installed perfectly and ready to go, I just need the patch because it says "no disc inserted" when I try to start up the game, but I DO have the disc inserted...

Let me get this straight - when I put Disk 1 of KOTOR II in my Mac, I have to use something like VMWare Fusion to install it, right? And how does Wineskin fit in?

Update - disregard what I just said. I have a new question: which version of the game is now installed? 1.00 or up?

Update 2 - Never Mind; I found out - the game works fine.

EDIT ok stance thing is just the game being wierd, you have to click a second time on it. Hotkeys still inoperable but no biggie

hey techy people, got this working on my white macbook (uk version discs, files installed on a spare-pc) Having problem with settings for Behaviour Stance, when I try to change the stance with the onscreen button, it always rolls back to "Aggressive" once I pull the mouse away, so im stuck in "everyone run everywhere at once" mode! I tried to setup hotkeys for this AND Lightsaber Form and I cant do that, these settings arent even listed in the keymap settings menu so I cant set a hotkey for them. Either the keymap settings for kotor1 are being used, or my swkotor2.ini file is messed?? thoughts?
