Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a BAFTA Award–winning 2010 racing video game in the Need for Speed series developed by British games developer Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts for iOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360.[9] The Wii version was developed by Exient Entertainment. Hot Pursuit is the 16th title in the franchise and was released in November 2010. Digital download was available starting on 15 December 2010.
Hot Pursuit's gameplay is set in the fictional Seacrest County, in which players can compete in several types of races. Players can also compete online (except in the Wii version), which includes additional game modes such as Hot Pursuit, Interceptor and Race. The game features a new social interaction system called "Autolog", which is a network that connects friends for head-to-head races and compares player stats for competition. The game also features paid downloadable content in the form of new cars, new race and pursuit events, and new trophies/achievements.

Known Issues:
- Install using Wineskin Installer (Fn + Double click, then "Install Windows Software")
or paste your game directory from Bootcamp / Virtual machine into the wrapper's Program Files (Option-click and Show Contents)
- If you choose the Wineskin Installer, you need to go through the installation of VC2008, don't worry, this is normal
- The game installer doesn't show any progress (the bar is always full) but this is OK, it is actually installing fine
- You will NEED to have a cracked exe in order to play, which is provided in the folder Program Files inside the wrapper.
- You will need the 1.01 or 1.02 patch to play the game with the NODVD provided, depending on the wrapper you are using.
- I am sorry but most of the problems are caused by the ugly copy protection this game uses. The provided versions are 1.01 and 1.02. You might be able to find a newer version that works with the latest patch.
- You can download game patches from HERE
- The Reloaded activator crack will NOT work. You NEED the provided (or a newer) NODVD executable.
- The 1st wrapper is for version 1.02 and the second for 1.01!

- Some artifacts when racing (please test so I can rule out my graphics card or graphics settings)
- Online Gaming has not been tested, but I doubt it will work due to a nasty hack for now

i own a late 2011 21inch imac with a AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB graphics and the game runs perfect except for 1 problem, the car models are huge and deformed and it makes the game imposible to play. anyone have this problem?

i clicked install windows software but i dont know which file i have to select, so which file is it?
@Sahen Fernando you need to download the game separately, Thanoulas has provided us with the wrapper. you need to get the install dvd for NFS HP and mount it on your computer and install the setup.exe. after that you copy the (NODVD) NFSHP.exe thanoulas provides into the NSF HP foulder found in the NFSHP.app (right click show package content)

Ok try and update first and if this keeps happening we'll try some dll overrides
I'v got some weird stuff on my computer, its a macbook air i5 intel hd 3000 4gb ram. Its different to makd, because all the 3d stuff looks perfect, but all the gui is sooo screwed up, and its impossible to go through the menus, i got into a race because iv played the game before and could remember how to get into a race but i can't lower the video settings because i can't figure out how to get their, and its quite laggy. I'll open it up again and upload some screenshots for you to see.

The in-game screen normally looks worse than it is, it has similar glitches to the menus, just not as much because of less gui, i guess it was a unlucky screenshot where it took a pic when nothing was visible, it normally has the craziness though, and a few minor bugs in the 3d part of the game but nothing that will make it unplayable.
All the text appears as symbols too, but sometimes flashes into normal text.

So for now the game is unplayable on ATI and Intel HD. I can actually test on IntelHD if I disable the nVidia. Maybe the problems are related and I can find a fix for both.
I'll put together a new version and upload it for you.
