Please vote for the Quality of this Port / Wrapper, not for the Game or Application!Personal Notes:
After many tries I finally get it to work perfectly. The sound works and the graphics as well. I tested all singelplayer stuff. The Multiplayer is not tested.
I used Cider Build 6357, but in the build the sound was broken. I used the libdsound.dylib and the libdswave.dylib from Cider 1310 (thx Drakulix) and the sound worked beautifully.
IMPORTENT: This wrapper works only with Version 1.0 of the game. So pls don't patch.
My Specs:
OS: Mac OS X 10.7.2
CPU: 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5
Ram: 4 GB
Video: AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB
Port Disk Space: 5,63 GB
Known Issues:
None
Installation Instructions:
Install the game using Parallels, wine,Bootcamp or what else. -> use a no CD crack with "Soulstorm.exe" -> right click at Dawn of War - Soulstorm.app and click show Package -> Now follow the green Path -> Put your "Dawn of War - Soulstorm" Folder into "THQ". That should be all.
If there are any Problems, feel free to send me an PM or ask in this topic.Have fun playing this awesome strategy game.

Well, mods. I believe it should work. haven't tested it. I would be glad If u could tell me if mods work after u tested it.
Ok great, it would be fun if they did work, there is a great steel legion mod for Soulstorm. Its good fun.
Well I've got an assignment to finish so I will try get it working later today.
Thanks again for your help/advice.
Also, the mod I wanted to use (steel legion) is for V1.2 only, so I can't check to see if it works for you.
Thanks for all your help. I played for 2 hours and no crashes or bugs.
Console just reports as follows:
24/03/12 21:22:48,514 cider: TransformProcessType failed! Err: -50

unfortunately not in the moment. I couldn't get the newer versions to run with any cider build I have. You could follow this port (on the top right) and you will see when I update this port. In the moment I'm waiting for Ciderx 2.0 maybe with this it's possible to get it to run. I really want to get v.1.2 to work, because many mods only work with 1.2 :/ The day will com
Would Crossover Games support a fully patched Soulstorm?
I found a torrent of Soulstorm for Mac, and it's patched to 1.2. Cybershark, would you be able to download this, and make it more stable, perhaps even crack it for us to have all races in multiplayer? I was playing multiplayer with a friend (through Remobo) and I was Inquisition, and the game crashed 3 times within 20 minutes into the game.
[warez links aren't allowed]
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links like these, so if I'm not, please let me know, and I'll remove it.
In the moment I don't have much time, but if I have more I will take a look if I could get ver 1.2 working
Cybershark, you made this wrapper with version 1.0, but this link http://portingteam.c...-soulstorm/ is a wrapper where it's version 1.2, and it works, it has all the races unlocked, and multiplayer works fully. The problem is is that I took the game torrent from The Pirate Bay, and placed the game files inside the 1.2 wrapper, and so whenever I play Imperial Guard and I build my first tank, no matter what I do, once the unit is done building, as soon as I move the camera to bring it in view, the game screws up as such the "dashboard" in the game disappears, and the textures from the bottom half down vanish, leaving me with a frozen game, which eventually crashes. I'm assuming the 1.2 wrapper and the game files are conflicting, and it doesn't want to render that tanks textures or the model itself. Would you be able to fix this?
Here is my log
