Game Description
Mirror's Edge is a single-player first person action-adventure video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts. The game was announced on July 10, 2007, and was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2008. A Microsoft Windows version was released on January 13, 2009. Mirror's Edge is powered by the Unreal Engine 3 with the addition of a new lighting solution, developed by Illuminate Labs in association with DICE.
The game has a brightly coloured style and differs from most other first-person perspective video games in allowing for a wider range of actions—such as sliding under barriers, tumbling, wall-running, and shimmying across ledges—and greater freedom of movement; in having no heads-up display; and in allowing the legs, arms, and torso of the character to be visible on-screen. Mirror's Edge is set in a futuristic dystopian society, in which a network of 'runners', including the main character, Faith, are used as couriers to transmit messages while evading government surveillance. In the style of a three-dimensional platform game, the player guides Faith over rooftops, across walls, and through ventilation shafts, negotiating obstacles using movements inspired by parkour.
Notes
Steam version used. I saw it was on daily deal on steam today, so I decided to up it.
This port was available on the old site (not by me), but it has been broken for awhile, this version is also slightly faster than the old one.
This is not the same port. although the old one was working pretty well too.
I made this port as a part of my testing for drakulix' CiderX2.0, so I've played the first chapter probably 20 times with different settings/engines/sys32 files.
The game is perfectly playable on medium setting on Intel HD!
On my GTX285 I can turn everything to maximum and still keep 60 FPS!
I've tested a bit with gamepad, and it works with x360c emu, but you have to set it up on PC and copy it over.

IGN: 85/100 http://pc.ign.com/ar...4/944372p1.html
System Requirements
OS: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or Lion
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
RAM: 2048 MB
Video: any nvidia or ATI card or Intel HD300 or higher**
**Tested on 10.6.8 with nvidia GTX285
**Tested on 10.7.2 with Intel HD3000
Installation
I've used steam version. You can probably use a retail version too, with slight modifications to the path.
Download the game with steam, this can be done with a steam wrapper or on a pc/bootcamp/vmware etc..
Navigate to the installation, it should probably be in:
c:/Program Files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/mirrors edge/
Copy the whole folder inside the wrapper in c_drive/Program Files/
Add the files from the "Crack folder" that came with the wrapper into the /mirrors edge/Binaries/ folder.
Close wrapper and play.
If you want to change language:
Go to:
/Users/*yourname*/Library/Application Support/Mirrors Edge/p_drive/User/My Documents/EA Games/Mirror's Edge/TdGame/Config/TdEngine.ini
find "Language=INT" change int to deu= german, fra=french, ita=italian, rus=russian
If you have retail version you can put it in "Program Files" too,
but you need to open XWrapper and choose your mirrorsedge.exe (Inside binaries folder I guess)
Known Issues:
- Got one report that sound is laggy unless set to software in game.
(Not an issue on any of my machines)

Wow, thanks for the up. I will definitively play this game again if I find time
But awesome up.
It's on steam for €2.99 today!!! Go get it!
nice Runs brilliantly
thanks!
awesome. bought it. after downloading i will test it ^^ thx cluthz. Will tell you if Ati is green as well.
Sweet, I'll download this right away!
Cluthz, it's green for Ati/AMD. Works fine.
The only thing is, that the sound seems to have some probs. sometimes the voices aren't in time and sound effects could have delay. Is that for u as well?

No, I don't have that issue.
You could try switch the engine to see if that helps.
The game is green on 5413 too, albeit my gamepad works better in the custom 6635.
I've hidden the XEngine inside the wrapper, but you can navigate to inside the wrapper with terminal.
In the contents folder you can do
chflags nohidden XEngine.app
And then open XEngine and change to 5413

Okay, will try this. But I believe I had to install the cider x porter package first. nah, maybe tomorrow
If you want I can upload the framework you can just drop in
That would be really nice. I will test the wrapper with some mods as well later. But first I will finish the original game
Oh, and I have a verry important question. How could I actually change the game language? I bought mirrors edge in the german steam store, but the game is in english now. So I wonder how I could change that. Maybe that's because the steam crack is a english one?
So, There's another problem with ATI/AMd cards.
There is somehow a shader problem. IO believe the world is a little bit to dark. If u start up on the roof in the training it's much brighter than after you meet the girl. (u could see how dark the white looks in the screenshot) Is this for u as well?
And Then there is a shadow Box around Faith. I made screenshots.

I can confirm the game is darker some places and lighter some places, it's like that in windows too, so this is not a bug.
The shadows however is a bug, and it happens on my system too, but it's not really a problem for me, as you only see it if you look at the floor below you and it's pretty vague.
I think it's because the game calls a function from DX10_35 (reflect shader) and DX10 isn't really properly supported in cider, but I'm not sure.
As for your audio problem I have no idea, have you tested different sound settings in game?
I'm uploading a different framework you can try. Should be up in a few mins.
Also I only have english version of the game, so I have no idea how to change language, it might be in a config file inside the wrapper.

"...my testing for drakulix' CiderX2.0..." Woah woah woah, slow down. You said that Drakulix finished CX2.0 and he let you beta test it? Or there is something I don't get?
