Game Description
Mirror's Edge is a single-player first person action-adventure video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts. The game was announced on July 10, 2007, and was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2008. A Microsoft Windows version was released on January 13, 2009. Mirror's Edge is powered by the Unreal Engine 3 with the addition of a new lighting solution, developed by Illuminate Labs in association with DICE.
The game has a brightly coloured style and differs from most other first-person perspective video games in allowing for a wider range of actions—such as sliding under barriers, tumbling, wall-running, and shimmying across ledges—and greater freedom of movement; in having no heads-up display; and in allowing the legs, arms, and torso of the character to be visible on-screen. Mirror's Edge is set in a futuristic dystopian society, in which a network of 'runners', including the main character, Faith, are used as couriers to transmit messages while evading government surveillance. In the style of a three-dimensional platform game, the player guides Faith over rooftops, across walls, and through ventilation shafts, negotiating obstacles using movements inspired by parkour.
Notes
Steam version used. I saw it was on daily deal on steam today, so I decided to up it.
This port was available on the old site (not by me), but it has been broken for awhile, this version is also slightly faster than the old one.
This is not the same port. although the old one was working pretty well too.
I made this port as a part of my testing for drakulix' CiderX2.0, so I've played the first chapter probably 20 times with different settings/engines/sys32 files.
The game is perfectly playable on medium setting on Intel HD!
On my GTX285 I can turn everything to maximum and still keep 60 FPS!
I've tested a bit with gamepad, and it works with x360c emu, but you have to set it up on PC and copy it over.

System Requirements
OS: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or Lion
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
RAM: 2048 MB
Video: any nvidia or ATI card or Intel HD300 or higher**
**Tested on 10.6.8 with nvidia GTX285
**Tested on 10.7.2 with Intel HD3000
Installation
I've used steam version. You can probably use a retail version too, with slight modifications to the path.
Download the game with steam, this can be done with a steam wrapper or on a pc/bootcamp/vmware etc..
Navigate to the installation, it should probably be in:
c:/Program Files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/mirrors edge/
Copy the whole folder inside the wrapper in c_drive/Program Files/
Add the files from the "Crack folder" that came with the wrapper into the /mirrors edge/Binaries/ folder.
Close wrapper and play.
If you want to change language:
Go to:
/Users/*yourname*/Library/Application Support/Mirrors Edge/p_drive/User/My Documents/EA Games/Mirror's Edge/TdGame/Config/TdEngine.ini
find "Language=INT" change int to deu= german, fra=french, ita=italian, rus=russian
If you have retail version you can put it in "Program Files" too,
but you need to open XWrapper and choose your mirrorsedge.exe (Inside binaries folder I guess)
Known Issues:
- Got one report that sound is laggy unless set to software in game.
(Not an issue on any of my machines)

I got one PM that sound lagged with hardware enabled.
Could you try with swapping frameworks to see if it helps?
Game runs on almost all frameworks since 44xx
Well if the wrapper doesn't work then it doesnt. Btw training is impossible to complete. Once you run on a wall and jump back and get up on the platform it says failed. It does that all the time.

So far others are reporting that it works great for them.
I did use steam version with my loader btw.
Im sure the update 1.01 screwed everything up. I used a different wrapper before to play this and it worked though I haven't updated.
ahh nevermind the sound doesn't work because of the wrapper.
Going to try and get this up with updates through parallel first then copy over files to macside with wineskin
Exciting im learning lol

What application did you unpack it with?
Seems some people have had trouble with some archives with certain unpackers. I use Unarchiever
Verry good port runs well but when NPC comming in the game its begins to drop the FPS..

I unpacked it with The Unarchiver. I tried three times:
- unpacking the file,
- showing package contents,
- putting the installed game files into the correct folder,
- starting the app.
I would need to get some logs.
Open the wrapper with "show package contents".
open terminal
type "cd " (not the "'s but remember to use space afterwards)
drag the "contents" folder i to terminal
hit enter
now type in: "chflags nohidden *" (again no ")
open the contents folder and you'll see a lot of files
go to resources/logs and paste the contents of "lastcider.log" here or use pastebin if it's a lot.
