If the official port of NBA2K11 worked on your machine, this port should perform similarly, if not better.

- OS: Mac OS X 10.7.3 (Minimum recommended: 10.6)
- CPU: 2.4GHz Core2Duo (Minimum recommended: 2.13GHz Core2Duo)
- RAM: 6 GB (Minimum recommended: 2GB)
- Video: nVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT (Minimum recommended: nVIDIA GeForce 320M ... Sorry--Unplayable on either ATI/AMD or Intel.)
- Disk Space: About 9 GB disk space
Known Issues:
- Online play hasn’t been tested ... I’m happy to try it out with any willing volunteers!
- Like last year’s port of 2K11, there is often a lag at tip-off and sometimes in the game menus. Otherwise, it runs without caveat!
Installation:
- Drag and drop NBA2K12 installation folder from previous Program Files folder (from Windows machine) or install using Wineskin installer, then apply your favorite no-DVD crack (the final .EXE file should end up at /Program Files/2K Sports/NBA 2K12/nba2k12.exe).

i have a bug, the players arms are all flying when i have the player quality on high. any help?

Tell me about it ... I have nice, new, shiny iMac that is competely useless! I'm thinking about dabbling in Cider to see if that might be an alternative ...

Thank you for sharing, I'm afraid this port only works on NVIDIA cards, ATI and AMDs produce those strange artifacts. I have a similar iMac to yours (with an AMD graphics card) and I couldn't get it work at any resolution or definition setting (super frustrating to have a gorgeous iMac and not be able to use it for a game like this!).
You mentioned you had the problem playing the game at high settings--Were you able to get it to play on lower settings without the artifacts?

When I play it on an ATI/AMD card, actual gameplay is ok with player detail set to low, but there are still arbitrary glitches in menus and cut-aways throughout the game too. I've done a little digging and it seems to have something to do with ATI/AMD drivers for OS X, so I'm going to keep the official video card compatibility rated as RED for ATI/AMD cards (only NVIDIA is GREEN at the moment ... Intel graphics are completely unplayable in my testing). That said, I'll keep fishing around for an ATI/AMD solution ... though the prospects don't look terribly hopeful at the moment!

Hi djladytaz--if you're starting with the retail DVD, use the Wineskin installer. If you're copying the NBA2K12 folder from a prior installation, drag that folder into the wrapper at /Program Files/2K Sports/. Hope that helps!

Hey iamlegend--Stay tuned, I think I have a solution in hand. I can't test it out for another couple days (I'm away from my precious iMac and AMD video card) but I'll post back as soon I am able!
