In the future, Earth’s appetite for resources has become a major motivator for deep space exploration. Immense, privately-owned and operated mining ships called “planetcrackers” orbit planets and use sophisticated equipment to carve out entire city-sized chunks of rock, and reduce them to component elements and raw ore.
When an immense mining ship, the USG Ishimura, comes into contact with a mysterious alien artifact in a remote star system, its communications with Earth are mysteriously cut off. Engineer Isaac Clarke is sent to repair the Ishimura’s communications array, but he arrives to find a living nightmare—the ship is a floating bloodbath, the crew unspeakably mutilated and infected by an ancient alien scourge.
Clarke’s repair mission becomes one of survival as he fights not just to save himself, but to return the artifact to the planet … at any cost.
Personal Notes:
-Works great on my MBA with the high details (except for AA and shadows)
-Finished the game, crashed only for once at the end of chapter 8 which didn't occur again.
-Turn V-Sync off, it causes mouse lags.
-I'm using retail version
-It's Wineskin 2.5.3 because mouse doesn't work on 2.5.4
-Thanks to Wolfangraul for his icon -http://wolfangraul.deviantart.com-
My System Specs:
- OS: OS X 10.7.3
- CPU: Intel Core i5 1.6GHZ
- RAM: 2GB
- Video: Intel HD 3000 288MB
- Disk Space: 8.16GB
Gameplay:
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rUrzZrfhS2w" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Known Issues:
-Some of the ingame text decorations are missing, this is due to a bug in Wine according to WineHQ.
-Mouse doesn't work in the game menu, use your keyboard instead.
-Sometimes upon opening the game, mouse doesn't work. You have to quit and re-open the game. (Not sure what causes this)
-In chapter five, you go under a meteor shower but game doesn't draw meteors so you have to listen the sounds whether if it stopped raining or not. (The place in the screenshot)
-Also some fire effects are not drawn by the game.

An example of missing texts, as you compare it with the Xbox version, inventory is not fully showing up in mine. Same thing happens at upgrade benches as well.
Installation:
-Right click the wrapper, choose "Show Package Contents" and open up Wineskin. Choose "Install Windows Software" and select your setup data.
-After it finishes, open up your game (apply your "things" before opening up of course)
-After you change the resolution, game will be cropped in the screen so quit your game to fix this issue, then open it up again.
