About the Game
The minds of New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion lead designer Ken Rolston have combined to create Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a new role-playing game set in a world worth saving. Build the character you've always wanted and continuously evolve it to your style of play with the revolutionary Destiny system. Choose your path and battle through a master-crafted universe featuring some of the most intense, responsive, and customizable RPG combat ever.
Key Features:
A Massive World to Explore, Filled with Epic Fiction and Rich Storytelling
Good performance and excellent graphics
My System Specs:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.7.3
- CPU: Core i5 2.53GHz
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video: nVidia GT330M 256MB
- Disk Space: 8.5GB
Known Issues:
- Mouse warping only works in Fullscreen Mode!
Installation:
Install with Wineskin Installer or move folder from Basecamp / Parallels in Program Files or install Steam in Winetricks
Dot not install DirectX or VCRedist at the end of the game installation
Apply Crack / Fixed exe - sorry, no drm with wine
ATI/AMD USERS!!:
This engine comes with some special settings you can change if you want to experiment with the performace. Open Wineskin, Go to advanced and run "Registry Editor".
From there, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D
Create a new STRING VALUE Named: OverrideVertexShaders. Set its value to "enabled" (without the double-quotes)
Create another STRING VALUE Named: VertexShaderConstants Set the values as follows:
I'd suggest values between 260-280, but of course feel free to experiment.
The lower you go, the faster the framerate, but you'll get more graphical glitches
The higher you go, the less glitches, but slower framerate.
USERS ON pre-5xxx ATi's (Radeon HD 2600/4670/4850/4870):
It seems that these cards only support 512-1024 Uniform Components, which are not enough to run this game on Mac OS X. You can experiment with values around 240 - 256, but there is no guarantee that the game will work.

Is this Wine with raw3 patched?
I've tried that before and mouse turning is limited

It's raw3 patched and built --without-xinput2 which is a workaround for the confined mouse movement. Cursor is super-smooth
Awesome.
ok, if i start it unmodified i only get black screen.
If i force virtual desktop and launch it i can not turn more than 180°

...please don't hijack a port thread that's not your own by announcing that you're making a port of this port.
Seems if I hooked of one of my monitors I can launch it without forcing it to virtual desktop.
Still only 180° mouse movement.
This is on 10.6.8
I can reboot to Lion and test there too

Sorry same issue in Lion.
Have anyone got it working, i mean with mouse that works 100%?
Red on my machine in both Lion and Snow Leopard
Damn I was looking forward to this!!
Also it's heavily bleeding memory, after a few mins of testing I had like a 5 page log in wine with resource errors.
