Apply Crack / Fixed exe - sorry, no drm with wine

ATI/AMD USERS!!:
This engine comes with some special settings you can change if you want to experiment with the performace. Open Wineskin, Go to advanced and run "Registry Editor".
From there, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D
Create a new STRING VALUE Named: OverrideVertexShaders. Set its value to "enabled" (without the double-quotes)
Create another STRING VALUE Named: VertexShaderConstants Set the values as follows:
I'd suggest values between 260-280, but of course feel free to experiment.
The lower you go, the faster the framerate, but you'll get more graphical glitches
The higher you go, the less glitches, but slower framerate.

USERS ON pre-5xxx ATi's (Radeon HD 2600/4670/4850/4870):
It seems that these cards only support 512-1024 Uniform Components, which are not enough to run this game on Mac OS X. You can experiment with values around 240 - 256, but there is no guarantee that the game will work.

Hi, I have downlloaded the Wrapper and installed it properly, I think. However when I play I get this:http://www.youtube.c...0pUtrH9wG4xiXk=I cannot see my character (even in the character creation), I cannot see NPCs or enemies. Plus the game's graphics seem to be stuffed up. The fluidity of the mouse it fine but I can only turn around 100 degrees one way and around 250 degrees the other way. I would give you the log data from a test run but I am not sure which one you want, "LastRunX11" or "LastRunWine". LastRunWine is 1000 pages and I am not sure how I could post it.Please get back to me.

I get this too. I tired a variety of different resolutions and texture complexity but I still can't see any of the NPCs or my own character and there are a ton of textures just going nuts. Maybe this is because I'm using ATI?
Do i just drag the directory folder into program files or what????
I finally cracked this.
Stay tuned, I'm uploading the fixed wrapper now!

Edit: Uploaded to Turbobit, Mediafire now up as well
Have fun!
Genius :)

The little code bit thanoulas changed on this is gonna pave the way for many more games!
The patch is a bit "dirty" atm with pre-set screen coords (which for some games can be a problem if you have a big screen), but nothing that can't be fixed.

This 35 line long patch he wrote is a milestone for mac wine and mouse issues!
To be honest, this is the biggest fix for mac users (when it comes to mouse handling) in wine since the RawInput patch and almost makes up for the lack of proper Xinput 2 handling on mac osx!

i agree!
How does having an AMD or AMI Graphics card affect the wrapper. Can this be overcome?
Thank you all! I hope I'll find some time today and patch the source to be resolution independent. After that I'll release a .patch file which will include the raw3.patch, let's call it a proper osx raw3.patch :)
I will also release the wine engine in the custom engines area in the wineskin thread, for everyone to use in their projects. I will maintain the source for our raw3 patch and release on every wine release.

@AlexJamesTB I've seen this in other games as well, unfortunately, it's something that needs to be reported as a bug in wine's bugzilla. As far as I can tell from your video geometry doesn't look right, so the models are not rendered correctly.
Hello! i installed the game but i cant seem to launch it. I used the Wineskin Installer and did as instructed. can anyone give me a more precise installation guide so i can try again? Sorry for the noob question i'm kinda new to this thanks!
it have an ugly mouse movement :(
Yeah, this is the raw patch I'm afraid. I've noticed it is a bit smoother if you disable post processing in the game's graphics settings.

I can confirm that the logs are identical to some logs I've gotten from AMD users that runs Mass Effect 3 (those who can start it)
Game not working OSX
Looks like there are tons of bug reports for Ati GLSL on wine, it's just a matter of time for it to be fixed. Might even be an ATi driver program.
Red for Ati for now, sorry folks.

Edit: Can anyone with an ATi card go to bugs.wine.org and create a bug report for this game with a +d3d,+d3d_shader debug flag, for this game? That's the only it will ever be fixed.
