Description:

Far Cry 2 is an open world first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released on October 21 2008 in North America, and on October 23 2008 in Europe and Australia. It was made available on Steam on October 22, 2008. Crytek, the developers of the original game, were not involved in the development of Far Cry 2.
Ubisoft has marketed Far Cry 2 as the true sequel to Far Cry, however the sequel has very few noticeable similarities to the original game. Instead, it features completely new characters and setting, as well as a new style of gameplay that allows the player greater freedom to explore different African landscapes such as deserts, jungles, and savannas. The game takes place in a modern-day Central African nation in a state of anarchy and civil war. The player takes control of a mercenary on a lengthy journey to locate and assassinate "The Jackal," a notorious gun runner. As of January 23, 2009, the game has sold 2.9 million copies

Personal Notes:
I've spent sometime on making this. The only problem I ran in were the shaders and the mouse. Thankfully, Thanoulas fixed that error by making a custom engine based on Wine1.5.

i reuploaded this... bur change logs fix the other stuff
I made one from scratch, by myself with a custom engine by Thanoulas. That fixes every glitch that your wrapper had.
Installed the game through the wrapper and the game started up with no issues. Did not change any display settings in game and just went right into the story. Soon as the opening scene appears, everything ran great. I then proceeded to bump up the graphics in menu. I set resolution to 2560x1440 and went back into game. No lag or problems found. Wanted to bump up the graphics a bit more by setting all settings to high, but soon as I applied these settings, the game crashes... Any thoughts?

Specs:
-Quad-core i7 processor
-VRAM: 1GB
-RAM: 12GB
-Graphics Card: AMD Radeon 6970M
-Running Lion 1.7.3

hmmm... When you launch the game, are the settings still on high? Also, try changing the settings while in the main menu. Your machine will probably run it fine on ultra high settings.
It may also be a game bug. (meaning it's not the fault of my wrapper)

I attempted to relaunch the game to see if the video settings were as I left them last, but another issue occurred; the game would not start. Would black screen and quit. I previously tried Paul the Tall's wrapper using the same installation files, but his wrapper had problems with the sky and mouse issues when setting graphic settings from Optimal to anything else. I also used the same installation files with your wrapper.

well thats completely stupid. Try to reinstall the game if possible.
That never happened to me before btw.

This is my third time reinstalling the game ha. I definitely don't blame you for this issue though. It may be just an issue with my AMD videocard, as many new ports have issues with ATI/AMD video cards (ex. Mass Effect 3).
that should not happen... I may have a fix though... I'll upload a new wrapper in an hour, wait.
Thanks much good sir. Please let me assist in anything possible as well.
It's all good, btw compressing the file as we speak

EDIT: 4 Minutes left to upload

I reinstalled the game through the new wrapper for safe measures, and that went flawlessly. Game started up, changed the settings in menu before starting new game, and applied bumped up settings without a crash. Although, when I tired to start a new game, it would load and stop at a point then would black screen and crash... I also noticed something that may be an issue. This was found with the previous and present wrapper. When I reinstall the game, my first try asks if I want to uninstall the game, but I delete old game files before I reinstall. The second time I attempt to reinstall, the installation would install the game rather than asking to uninstall. I am not sure if this may be an issue, but just wanted to bring it up.
