Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (also known as simply Ghost Recon) is a tactical shooter video game developed by Red Storm Entertainment, a Ubisoft subsidiary, and published by Ubisoft in 2001 for the PC. It was ported to the Mac, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2002 and to the GameCube in 2003. Ports for N-Gage and Game Boy Advance were planned, but later canceled.
Ghost Recon puts the player in charge of a fictional squad of U.S. Special Forces operators. They are organized into three fireteams named using the NATO phonetic alphabet: Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie, with space for three soldiers per team (the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions do not have a Charlie team available). However, only six soldiers can be selected per mission. The player enjoys limited tactical control on the battlefield by issuing maneuver commands and rules of engagement for each fireteam through a command map.
Personal Notes:
Works also with both Desert Siege and Island Thunder. The same counts for mods. LAN Multiplayer is fully playable.
For me, it works only in windowed mode. I adjusted the mouse settings accordingly. You can try yourself and deactivate/activate MouseWarpOverride if needed.
Menu resolution is always 800x600 but it changes to your native resolution once in-game.
My System Specs:
- OS: Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8
- CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz
- RAM: 4 GB
- Video: Intel GMA X3100
- Disk Space: 2.8GB
Known Issues:
A minor mouse issue in the menu. The cursor sometimes jumps to the edge of the screen when adjusting settings or equipment etc.
Installation:
Use the wrapper to install via .exe or CD, or place your Red Storm Entertainment folder inside "drive_c/Program Files/"

If only they could release a HD version of this one, this is a truly incredible game! Thanks

I used my retail copy and CD's to install and play. I didn't adjust my wrapper to work with Steam, so I doubt it would. I'm sorry. You can always try though.
