Just Cause is an army game which begins with Rico Rodriguez, an operative for an organization known as the Agency, being dropped into a Caribbean tropical island called San Esperito, after being called there by his commanding officer, Tom Sheldon, to help overthrow San Esperito's dictator; Salvador Mendoza, whom the Agency believes to be in possession of weapons of mass destruction.^[3] After his arrival, Rico rendezvouses with Sheldon, as well as their partner and fellow agent Maria Kane, and they ally themselves with a faction of guerrilla freedom fighters. Rico assists them in their civil war against Mendoza's corrupt officials, and assists in the liberation of various territories to further destabilize the government's rule over the island.
Eventually, Sheldon discovers that Mendoza does, indeed, have control of WMDs, and with San Esperito so politically unstable, the president is forced to retreat to his private presidential island just off the mainland. Sheldon and Kane fly Rico to the island to kill Mendoza, but he attempts to escape via jet. However, Rico boards the jet and kills Mendoza and his remaining bodyguards, ending his reign over the island.

Personal Notes:
With this port, I had to experiment with a lot of engines. First I tried 1.3.14, which would not let the game run. The screen would turn black, and then my desktop came back. I tried with the latest engine, 1.5, and the game run pretty good. The only problem was the mouse, which made the game unplayable. I downloaded Thanoulas's Raw engine, and now it runs beautifully! No lag on my 320m card at medium/high settings! No joke!

My System Specs:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.6.8
- CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
- RAM: 2 GB
- Video: nvidia 320m
- Disk Space: About 8 GB

Known Issues:
NONE!!!!

Installation:
Install game using wineskin installer or put the "Eidos" folder into program files.

Please test on Ati and GMA!!! INTEL HD IS CONFIRMED WORKING!!!!

try 360engine or lower engine

I used thanoulas's raw engine... That should be enough..... Besides there is no 1.5 for 360......

Did you use the retail disc to install and test? I know this was portable quite a while ago ( a year or so now) using the legit copy....for some reason the copy protection worked in Wine but the unprotected skidrow or reloaded version would not.

I made it, however I could only use a legit copy, because the cracked ones didn't work. But I didn't have the legit copy either. Razor and Waves had it, and they both said it worked perfectly.
