Download Wrapper Test Drive Unlimited 1.2
Runs very smooth on my system. 60+ fps on highest settings with HDR and x4 Anti-Aliaising.
Only AMD/ATI has been tested thus far. Intel HD will probably work but have not been tested yet. Older Intel GMA cards probably will not work.
NVIDIA CARDS HAVE SEVERE GLITCHES!
Windows Minimum Requirements:
Processor: 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent.
RAM: 512 MB
Video Memory: 256 MB (nVidia GeForce 6600 GT / ATI Radeon 9800)
Only supplied on DVD?: No
Hard Drive Space: 8 GB
Operating System: Windows 2000 / Windows XP / Windows Vista
DirectX Version: 9.0c
(Keep in mind that slightly higher specs are probably needed)
MAC OS X 10.6 OR HIGHER IS REQUIRED!
My System Specs:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.7.4 (Lion)
- CPU: Quad Core 2.2 GHz i7
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video: AMD Radeon HD 6750m with 512 MB of vRAM
- Disk Space: 8 GB
-Inland water renders through every object/texture except your vehicle. Ocean shoreline also does the same. (this is annoying but by no means game breaking)
After many hours of testing, I have come to the conclusion that this is a driver issue in the Mac OS, not a GLSL or VertexShader issue as previously thought. Until Apple updates their driver support, this glitch will likely stay.
-No online play
Step 1: acquire the game (rather through the disc* version or download via internet store)
Step 2: install the game (using a separate wrapper is recommended)
Step 3: move the main game folder titled "Atari" to your desktop
Step 4: navigate in the Atari folder and replace the TestDriveUnlimited.exe with a cracked version if needed
Step 5: navigate to c_drive/program files/ (inside the wrapper) and insert the Atari folder
Step 6: make sure the path to the TestDriveUnlimited.exe is correct
Step 7: launch the game and enjoy
*keep in mind for disc users, version 1.66A of the game (with no-cd crack) has a bug that prevents the first race from starting. It is well documented on windows and there is a fix. (installation info is in the download file from the link below)

(Ignore the lag, screen recording hogs resources.)
