Thanks for the AMD fix!

Stupid winehq....
you are a legend, wrapper is downloading now, ill post back with the results :D
Orcs must die 2 came out?  Gotta check this out....
hmm after a 3 hour download from mediafire the .zip would not extract XD, ill download it again - im sure it downloaded incorrectly
I've tested the port and it does run ok until there are some orcs around.
I never got the FPS over 40 even in build phase.

When there are approx 50 orcs out, the FPS is down to like 10-12 FPS, on low settings.
This is with 4GHz and GTX285. In win 7 i have stable 60 FPS until I hit like wave 30+ on endless mode (we're talking 300+ orcs).

Why did you use a raw wrap engine? Changing to plain 1.4.1 noxi2 gives much better mouse movement in game, and mouse actually works properly in steam (which it don't with the raw wrap). It also increases FPS a bit

FPS on wave 8 with your engine:

Wave 8 with 1.4.1 noxi2

Wave 22 with 1.4.1 (4 FPS FTW!!)

MY conclusion is that no mac today can run this in wine with decent performance, unless something is wrong on my end

edit: i did try cider:
High Settings 4x AA: This is not the same map! So numbers are lying a bit, but still...

Cider won't have Multiplayer tho, but it does run much faster and high gfx works.

I Might just release a cider port too. What cider build did you use ?
Oh and multiplayer can work in cider if you use multiplayer crack.
How did you get Opengl profiler to work ? The newer versions for me just freeze and crash saying this.

uploading Cider Wrapper
Hi. I'm running this using WS8Wine 1.2.16, every setting at maximum, with no problem so far, Mouse, Graphic Or FPS....
I'm using a ATI Radeon HD 5770..
Tryin' the wrapper now. I don't have any kind of specced out mac so this is gonna be interesting.

Edit: Just got back from some testing.(Internet was down for a bit so that's why it's delayed)

I would love that 1.4.1 noxi2 port you were talking about. I'm getting so much lag that I have to resort to strafing in order to hit orcs.

i might release the no xi2 port , but why use wineskin when there is cider. I released the cider port and its like 40 % more faster then wineskin .
I don't want to use cider because I plan on playing with friends later on. I downloaded this and started some stress tests. That's all I've done.

Which would also bring me to a good question: has anyone tested FPS on co-op?

I doubt co-op FPS will be worse. The reason why FPS plummets are the amount of orcs after awhile

FPS on co-op is the same as single player .
If you don't want to use cider then you are out of luck to get better a  Frame rate  even 1.4.1 no xi  has low Frame rate .
You need a high end card to run the wineskin port at a decent Frame rate . If you want speed and limited lag use cider . if you want multiplayer and steam support you wineskin .
This is the choice you will have to make .
I can't get the Steam overlay to appear. I get a message from the game that the overlay is disabled and to turn it on in Steam settings, but it is already enabled.
I could do without it, except that it seems to be required for sending and receiving invites for co-op.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Single player works great though!

Steam overlay has many bug on Wine. It's hard to fix it. I heard lot of ubuntu users said it's working on wine with ubuntu. https://bugs.launchp...1.3/ bug/900901
