Game Description:
The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard is an action role-playing video game developed and published by Bethesda Softworks with a third person style, set in the world of The Elder Scrolls.

Personal Notes:
This has been on my to do list for a long long time. Got around to it today while sick in bed.

Plot:
The game takes place in Tamriel in the year 864 of the Second Era, some 400 years prior to the events of Arena and the rest of the series. The story is about Cyrus, a young Redguard, who arrives on the island of Stros M'kai in order to find his missing sister, Iszara, and subsequently finds himself in the middle of political intrigue.

Port Info:
Full CD version - containing both speech and sound - Dosbox UB Port using DosBox 0.74. - Cd Check has been compromised but nothing has been ripped. Game manual / Novel has been included.

Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.4.11, Mac OS X 10.5.8 Leopard / Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard / Mac OS X 10.7 Lion / Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion
- CPU: Intel Core Processor - Will also work on PPC
- RAM: 1024MB
- Video: nVidia 8xxx Series or AMD 3xxx or 4xxx Series Video Card recommended
- about 1.25 gigs of Hard Drive Space required

Known Issues:
- This game is one of the most demanding dos games ever.  As such it may not run as smooth as other dos ports.
- if set to full double = true - the game will crash after the first scene
- runs a lot smoother in fullscreen over windowed - as such set to fullscreen (to change press alt+enter)

Installation:
Combine all 5 parts with 7-Zip etc - Mount the .DMG Drag the TES Redguard.app to your App Folder (or wherever) - Eject this disc image - ipen your Apllication folder and click on the Redgaurd TES.app to play.

How Do I combine files check out @  - http://portingteam.c...-combine-files/

If you have trouble downloading from the Mega site: Either use Firefox / Chrome or jdownoloader http://portingteam.c...s-the-easy-way/

If on 10.8

Fix for 10.8 =

Right click on The Elder Scrolls app - show package contents - go in to resources

Open the dosbox.conf file with textedit (or whatever)

Where it says fullscreen = true - change it to fullscreen = false

Save changes.

Run the app as normal - will work without issue.

Alt+Enter to switch from Windowed Mode / Full screen mode and vice-versa.

Make sure you downloaded all the parts and combined them all properly .
if you did that then make sure gatekeeper on your computer is OFF
You do not need to know any dos commands - the game will launch by itself.

Htminc is correct I assume you either;
a) Did not combine the parts correctly or,
B) Did combine the parts correctly but are trying to play the game from the dmg.

You can follow the instructions in the installation instructions above: - or here it is again, you need to do all the steps - http://portingteam.c...-combine-files/

I just downloaded the files again to test to ensure they are working (and it was not a bad upload) and they are working fine.

Let us know if you have further issues after reading and following the how to guide.

I ment that in a way that after the game quits after start up reopening causes Dosbox to open the command menue so i assumed running a command would get it to work. First i combined all five parts with ajoiner then i extracted the .dmg from said file and then i copied all the files inside to a separate folder then ran it , screen went black then it zoomed in on the screen then it said redguard quit unexpectedly. would the Problem report be useful for you as i have no idea what it means specifically.
sure.
Spoiler
Love your work just hoping this problem is not effecting anyone else who wants to enjoy your ports.

i can confirm that this works.
Every time I try and run it the dosbox window pops up, the game mounts its self, then tries to use the command 'DOSBOX', which is then followed by dosbox claiming this as an illegal command. What is the correct command at this point? DIR isn't being helpful
Your profile says you are using Windows - this a Macintosh port and Macintosh site....
