From Wikipedia:
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 is a 2002 racing video game, serving as the debut Need for Speed (NFS) title from EA Black Box,[2] and the first Need for Speed for the sixth generation of consoles as well as the final of the first generation Need for Speed Games. It is the sequel to the 1998 racing game Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit. In 2002, the game was awarded Console Racing Game of the Year[3] at the 6th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards. Like Porsche Unleashed before it, Hot Pursuit 2 was not released in Japan. This is also the first game in the series (until Shift) not to have a lollypoppit-view in the cars.

Personal Notes:
I did absolutely nothing in the process of porting this! This game is very fun however, it's quite short. All credit goes to the people you see in the launcher. Also, don't expect me to update this for fixes as I know very little about Cider. This game wasn't playable and didn't work in any other cider wrapper, so I'm stuck with a 379.

My System Specs:
- OS:      10.8.2
- CPU:     2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- RAM: Memory  2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
- Video:     Graphics  ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT 128 MB
- Disk Space: 100mb

Known Issues:
This is QUITE a big list. So here goes,
1. For ATI cards (Not sure about others) the special effects MUST BE TURNED OFF, otherwise your game will display a grey screen with a few visible parts.
2. The resolution must be set to 800x600, or the res of the main menu, this is because it switches to the resolution you pick in the options when you race. After switching so many times (3 is the limit I think) Your game will crash.
3. There are some areas in some maps that simply lose FPS significantly, however there aren't that many of these areas.
4. Repeats the SAME song, whether you are driving, at the main menu, and I have no idea what song it is. It is always the same. song.
Installation:
1. Install the game via Wine, crossovers, parallels, VM's
2. Right click on wrapper, < Show package contents Navigate to the game folder
3. Place game files in the folder
*4. go to info.plist to adjust the path of your game *IF NEEDED*
5. Enjoy
