Installation
Mount the downloaded disk image
Drag and drop the app to your preferred gaming folder
Install your copy of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen in a fresh Wineskin wrapper
Download one from here:
http://www.mediafire...nstaller.tar.7z
Extract the archive from the downloaded file
Double click the app to launch Wineskin and click Install Software
Navigate through the Windows installation panes

Right click on the installation wrapper and navigate to Contents/Resources/drive_c/Program Files/Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen
Drag and drop the Dragons Dogma folder in the installation wrapper into the Program Files folder located in the same pathway of the wrapper downloaded from the database

The Installation wrapper is not absolutely necessary, it’s just a precaution so as not to write any information to the wrapper files that might change the wrapper configuration.

Steam Version
Mount the downloaded disk image
Drag and drop the app to your preferred gaming folder
Right click and choose show package contents
Click on Advanced > Tools > Winetricks
Click on update Winetricks
Scroll down in the apps drop down list and choose Steam
Click on the Run button and launch the Steam process
After Steam has completed loading sign in and download the game
Launch the game using Steam

(Steam version is Untested)

Thanx. My own wrapper had a wmp folder init, but it was empy? This game runs perfect on Maximum settings.Your wrapper has a folder called "Adaptec". What is it? what does it do? and where did you get it from? It was missing in my wrapper/Port.
I installed Windows Media Player 7 and 9 from files I had obtained a long time ago. You should be able to get the same results by using Winetricks > dlls/wmp9 or wmp10

The Windows Media Player folder in Program Files is created by default now as I believe the player is now fully implemented into Wine. Although the components still need to be installed. The Adaptec folder contains components necessary to run the Media Player 9 graphical user interface and features.
Winetricks install of wmp doesnt work right... When a game needs wmp i have to use some very old wrappers, and then update it... Thanx again...
Did you update Winetricks?

If so you can get older versions of WMP here: http://www.oldapps.c...edia_player.php

I'd suggest WMP7.1 and WMP 9 (All)
You may need msxlm first before wmp if memory serves correct.

Also cool DankoB. I doubt my old PowerBook can handle it - but awesome to see.
Thanks! Works very well on my iMac 2010

2,8 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB
Can't play it... the mouse doesn't work and there's some strange issue with keyboard.
The pointer is not visible, but when I press a key repeatedly, the arrow appears briefly (shaking the mouse). Also menu items cannot be used because it seems that the UP button is held down, infact if I try to play, my character starts running forward, automatically.
I've tryed a different wrapper, but nothing. I've changed graphics driver (I'm using NVidia, instead of OSX driver) but nothing...

iMac late 2013
GTX 780M
El Capitan 10.11.3 (beta)
Could you run the game using the Wineskin > Advanced > Test Run and provide the contents of the lastrunwine.log? I have a feeling it may have something to do with the gpu settings. Do you know what Wine is recognizing your GTX 780m as? It's possible that it's recognizing it as a very old GPU. Also, the retina screen may be causing an issue. What resolution do you have the game set to? It should be a last resort option, but you could install the DirectX9 redistributable through Winetricks. I've seen this work on numerous occassions.
Here's the log:

I've a lot of Wine ports that recognizes my GPU correctly...
I'll try the Directx9 trick. Stay tuned.
Tried Directx9 install. Nothing changes...
Go to Contents/Resources/drive_c/users/Wineskin/Local Settings/Application Data/CAPCOM/DRAGONS DOGMA DARK ARISEN/config.ini. Scroll to the bottom of the file and verify that [DISPLAY] is configured to the correct resolution. You can toggle VSYNC here as well.

Also try different settings within the advanced graphics settings. I have not tested this on an NvIDEA card so I don't know what effect they have graphically.

Another thing you could try would be to force Wine to recognize your graphics card for what it actually is (so long as your card is included in the updated GPU definitions within Wine). You can do this by opening: Contents/Resources/user.reg.

Open user.reg and scroll down to [Software/Wine/Direct3D] and copy and paste the following under it:

"VideoPciDeviceID"=dword:0000119e
"VideoPciVendorID"=dword:000010de

Those are the Device and Vendor ID's for your particular system. Now go to Wineskin > Screen Settings and uncheck Auto Detect GPU for Direct3D

Wine should recognize you card exactly as it is...
Nothing to do... seems to be caused by the game itself, because just before the PG screen the mouse pointer is OK. Here is the config.ini content (there's some strange info to check):

What's the "ProductName=LogitechG13Joystick" string? I've the G13... maybe the problem is around this strange config data.
My config.ini is different than yours. Try deleting that string of numbers and letters, delete the MAP_ settings and unplug your controller.

It's possible that the lack of USB support is causing issues.
I installed in another wrapper and dragged it across, I also tried installing in the wrapper to no success pls helpp. thanku
