Plus information about past Elder Scrolls games.
The Elder Scrolls Online is an upcoming massively multiplayer role-playing video game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios, to be released in 2013. It is a part of The Elder Scrolls video game franchise, of which it is the first open-ended multiplayer installment. It will be the first Elder Scrolls game with an official Macintosh Port.

As with other games in The Elder Scrolls franchise, the game will be set in the continent of Tamriel and feature a storyline indirectly connected with the other games. The game will be set a millennium before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and 800 years before The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, with the Daedric Prince Molag Bal appearing as the main antagonist as he attempts to conquer all of Tamriel.

Most of the continent of Tamriel will be playable in the game (much of it will be locked off for expansion content), and players will have the opportunity to join any of the three factions warring over the throne of the Emperor of Tamriel: The Aldmeri Dominion, composed of Altmer, Bosmer, and Khajiit (represented by a bird of prey), the Daggerfall Covenant, composed of Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs (represented by a (lion) and the Ebonheart Pact, composed of Dunmer, Nords, and Argonians (represented by a dragon). {1}

Looks great! Now we are finally supported, us, the Mac players!
can't wait for this.. though the trailer seems too good to be true.
the biggest flaw being in the title itself, ONLINE

They were to lazy to come up with a name, heh.
Yeah. But they are still in time to change it, hope they reconsider...
I tried to get in.... nope. No beta key :(
Still waiting for an answer to the Beta. Hope for it!
just signed up for the beta but i only had an above average chance to make it... but still better than average
Finally a good online game for mac.
I like the company for their games. However, don't like how they remove pickpocket from online play.
The game is built on the ideals of two other MMO's out there (WOW & EVE). In WOW you can be a rogue class which also don't allow you to pickpocket (lame). EVE has the Sandbox (aka Mega Server)
other note: its funny that the company can bring this to the mac. However, keep us from getting Skyrim, Dishonored and Fallout 3 from us. bet " The Elder Scrolls 6" will be pc and game console only"
LOL i like how there is no linux XD
Really don't know how Elder Scrolls is going to translate onto MMO. They've said it will be unique and keeping in line with the Elder Scrolls universe, but from the screens I've seen it looks like any other MMORPG...
I think it might be the whole land of Tamriel because they pretty much have more room to create because its online. As to how it converts to an MMO, i have no idea. Of course the trailers look really good, and hopefully they integrate all of the TES titles and themes like Oblivions Medieval theme and Skyrims Nordic Mythology theme. I mean they've had the Beta testing going on for a while and been bringing in TES players by having them sign up and explain why they should be chosen as beta testers. Although online play is not my thing by any means, i would give this a try just because ive enjoyed their standalone games in the past. As far as its 2013 release, i dont think thats completely accurate. I think just recently (Im pretty sure at E3) Bethesda announced that the final version of TES Online will be released sometime in 2014. Ill definitely will at least give it a try.
We are getting many articles on front page elder scrolls for a visit to a market place essay. That needed all the values to create better opportunities. Then all team will port at the one place to have great resources.
