Two years after Commander Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy has emerged. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced.
To even attempt this perilous mission, Shepard must assemble the galaxy’s most elite team and command the most powerful ship ever built. Even then, they say it would be suicide. Commander Shepard intends to prove them wrong
Personal Notes
This is ported using a customized WineskinEngine.bundle WS5 version with Wine Source 1.1.38 patched for mouse and graphics functionality.
The graphics are not 100% fixed as there is a darker tone to the back of the main characters neck. All that has been tested is showing that the graphics corruption is much improved since the last release.
Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard / Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
- CPU: Intel Core Duo
- RAM: 2 GB (tested with 4 GB)
- Video: 256 vRAM
- Apple's X11 must be installed
- about 11.5 GB Hard Drive Space required
Known Issues:
There is a slight discolouration to the back of the main characters neckâ€â¦other than that there are no issues with this game for as far as I have tested it.

Installation:
Unzip the Mass Effect 2 wrapper
Right click and choose Show Package Contents
Drag an drop the game folders from your previously installed Mass Effect 2 folder to:
Contents > Resources > drive_c > Program Files > Mass Effect 2
Now extract the Binaries.zip inside the wrapper
Replace the Binaries folder in the Mass Effect folder with the one you just extracted.
Close the windows, double click the Mass Effect 2.app to play, Enjoy!

Spoiler
Fix up the download link with the proper linksavebutton
download link fixed
awesome work guys! I think the engine I used was actually 1.1.38...I found out that those patches were originally written for the 1138 engine.
mmm, better suggest an orange status if i see all those bugs.
hay is this osx10.5 friendly or osx10.6 only like mass effect 1?
good job guys
i say honestly until speed issues are resolved this should be ORANGE
ok i got this bundle working finally but whenever i start the game i see EA intro and bioware intro followed by a black screen with just music how can i fix this
Now my test:
There are a few speed problems. But for me, Its faster than the port of ME1. (i dont see how, but still)
The graphics. The graphics suck. Worse than what the ME1 was. Missing faces in some parts, some seem too bright, etc.

Did you screw around with the user.reg at all? I'd say by the looks of it, it is not compatible with 10.5 (although all wineskin WS2 engines should be 10.4 + compatible) BoomBox has no problems testing it but you are not able to see the graphics at all. Maybe try disabling you 9600? I'm not sure but I'd say the opengl has something to do with it...
try
"DirectDrawRenderer"="OpenGL"
"UseGLSL"="enabled"
in the user direct3d registry
Blocks on loading new game for me...
yeah same here... :'-(
Any news for this...?

The same problem :< Adding to user.reg, under direct3d these two lines changes nothing. Black screen after EA and BioWare logo (but there's sound).
