Sorry, Links Dead Magicka
Please vote for the Quality of this Port / Wrapper, not for the Game or Application!
Magicka is a satirical action-adventure game set in a rich fantasy world based on Norse mythology. The player assumes the role of a wizard from a sacred order tasked with stopping an evil sorcerer who has thrown the world into turmoil, his foul creations besieging the forces of good.
Players will be able to combine the elements to cast spells, wreaking havoc and devastation on the minions of darkness. They will also be able to team up with friends and fight their way through the campaign, or test their skills in the magickal arts through other challenging modes.
In Magicka, up to four players take on a grand adventure to save their world from certain doom using a fully dynamic spell system. The adventure mode takes the players across three different levels, ranging from the lush forests of mountain valleys to the frozen halls of the Mountain King where wits and creative thinking are the keys to victory.
In the unlockable hardcore challenge mode, players fight off waves of enemies to earn their place on local and online leaderboards.

Randomly crashed after the first storytime scene.
EDIT: If you keep it in full screen, there will be no crash. Works perfectly on my card. Like, perfectly.

Can somebody seed or upload the full game port please?
Thanks :D
Thanks :D
I am changing this to Green as it works fine on faster graphics cards (something with 512MB of vram as tested by NintendoToad (thanks!) )
But there is a very minor problem with some spells not showing up how they are supposed to, but they are very minor.
If a mod/admin could please move this into Here: viewforum.php?f=45 it would be appreciated.

Yeah. Apparently, the "flamethrower" spell texture thingy doesnt show up. Initially I thought it was SUPPOSED to only give out heat blurs and ashes. Mah bad. Still runs really well.
Thanks for the share, it still runs slowly for me ~20fps...
I'm on a 2010 i7 2.66Ghz with nVidia GT 330M, 512MB Macbook Pro.
Is there anything else I need to do? Did @NintendoToad get ~60FPS? Portal 2 runs at that...

Nice port !
Anyone managed to play LAN games ?
Anyone managed to play LAN games ?
Also, I can't seem to find SKIDROW's latest 21 update anywhere...
I got 27FPS. Check a torrent tracker. Boombox didn't include u21.
Would it be too much to ask if you could upload your already done-and-done version of Magicka?
Cheers! :)
Cheers! :)
It would be. AT&T's throttling all uploads right now.
Tired the latest version, with steam, on an ATI HD 2600 and it didn't work properly, the menu is all fucked up, all black with like a red thunder.
That could be a crack issue. Have you tried using non-steam?
Nope, however I don't think it's a crack issue, It was launched trough Steam.
I hadnt had any problems with the Steam version other than the menu talking incredibly long to load after the few made by videos....
Also, you will have keyboard problems if you run it in a virtual desktop....

It has not been tested but it *should* work.
The update the torrent contains is update 19&20....
Also, I would love if people with stronger gcards (something with 512MB of vram or more) could test the speed of this wrapper....
