Crysis 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek, published by Electronic Arts and was released in North America, Australia, and Europe in March 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Officially announced on June 1, 2009, the game is the second main installment of the Crysis series, and is the sequel to the 2007 video game Crysis and Crysis Warhead. The story was written by author Richard Morgan, another science fiction author, Peter Watts, was also consulted and wrote a novel adaptation of the game. It is the first game to showcase the CryEngine 3 game engine.

** (PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO SYS REQ, NOTES, AND INSTALL) **

..:: System Requirements ::..

- OS: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard / Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard
- CPU: Intel Pentium 4
- RAM: 2 GB
- Video: 256 MB vRAM
- about 9 GB Hard Drive Space Required

..:: Credits ::..

- RazorPro - I compiled all of this together
- Drakulix - For his original Crysis 2 MP Demo wrapper. It helped a lot with porting this.
- NintendoToad - For the heads up on the TRIVIUM crack. This wouldn't have been possible without it.

..:: Notes ::..

- The game MUST be updated to 1.1 and the TRIVIUM crack MUST be used, or else it will not work.
- The game works on 256 mb VRAM graphics cards (at least, it worked on my NVvdia 9400m. However, a popup window will appear saying that it's not supported. Ignore this and continue.
- For some reason, when using this specific update with the specific crack, the graphics options are listed as high, very high, maximum high. So, high is the lowest!
- Pressing command and enter simultaneously will bring the game into windowed mode. This can be useful on lower end computers.
- The game gets about 25 fps constantly on my card mentioned earlier. It would probably be even faster on a better card. Also, there are no graphical errors.

..:: Installation ::..

1. Install game (Game + 1.1 update + TRIVIUM crack)
2. Ctrl-click the wrapper (Crysis 2.app) and click "Show Package Contents".
3. Follow the blue highlighted folders until you reach the "Program Files" folder (Contents > Resources > transgaming > c_drive > Program Files > *Right Here*).
4. Drag the "Electronic Arts" folder from the install into the directory from the step above.
5. Double click the Crysis 2.app when done to start playing.
6. Enjoy! :)

Great post, someone had just messaged me at broken stones about a Crysis 2 wrapper....I shall direct them here for testing.
I get:

Then it just hangs (ATI)
Try to ignore it, N00B.

I have nothing comes on, it's not displaying my device id either, it's like cider isn't grabbing it.

This may mean that ATI is not supported. Also, it's strange that it's not identifying his graphics card. Here's the error I get:

This port using Cider Build number is 5313, right? I thought CryEngine or Cider 5313 don't support any old ATI graphic card?

Now, I think CryEngine don't support Intel GMA X1300 144MB. It will very slow... about 5-10 fps... (I don't test it)... I hope it can support Intel HD 512MB.

alcatraz litterally dissapears when he is in cloak:(

I thought that that was meant to happen. I've tried it on the PC, and he seems to almost completely disappear as well. Except, the crosshairs still show.
Nevermind I've just fixed my issue (after trying to run cider ports for three days it was something unrelated), game runs now but another problem.

I have a multichannel core audio compliant interface (soundcard with lots of outputs), the problem now is the sound isn't coming from the right outputs. The routing seems all messed up as well as the levels.

Any idea how I can fix this so it comes out of the first stereo pair?
I also get the unsupported video card message, nevertheless the game runs perfectly with constant 60fps in 800x600. However, if I change the resolution or the graphics quality the lights become disturbingly bright (dark areas are OK). Besides no problems at all.

My config: 10.6.7, Ati 5870, i7 2.93Ghz, 4GB RAM, Hackintosh
Unsupported video card dialoge also but runs a treat on my 2011 Macbook Pro, great job with this. First start-up I crashed to desktop when starting actual game play. Second start-up plays fine.

Config: 10.6.7 ATI 6750M 1GB, Quadcore i7 2.2Ghz, 8GB RAM, Macbook Pro 15"
how can i make the fps logger disappear from the screen?
Looking very good!
