Updated 12. Feb 2012.
Thanks to Puhaha reporting an error fatal to the gameplay about a bit over an hour into the game.
It should be resolved with the latest wrapper!

Before your fall, you led a crusade against evil. Now you've become one of the undead creatures you once battled - a Vampire. Inhabiting the World of Darkness, you must face a series of brutal confrontations with your nemesis Vukodlak, a powerful vampire lord.

Your unholy showdown begins in medieval Europe and rages on into the modern day, as you track a soulless enemy in an eternal struggle to destroy him. For this is the only hope of vengeance for your tortured immortality

Notes:

www.gog.com version is used, other version might be used, but not tested.
This game was originally available back on the old site, but has gone.
I made a port from scratch using new version of Wineskin and the game does work very well on 10.6.8 and 10.7.3.

I found the icon on deviantart, and it's made by thedoctor45, which had the original port here.

Installation:

With www.gog.com version you can install the game with wine installer directly into the wrapper.
But, change patch to c:/Program Files/Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption/

If you have another cersion you can try to install directly or copy the installation, make sure the folder containing game is in:

c:/Program Files/Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption/

Known Issues:

None, game seems to be working just great, even better than on windows 7.

Change res before you are in game, also before you start a new game or load a game.
You must also set a res your screen supports. I tried with 1680x1050 and it works just fine on my screen.
Also the game will always be low res in menus.
It crashes when you end your conversation with bishop too. (After visiting nun Anezka when you kill the Tzimisce)
I've not got that far yet, I've just cleared the mines and maybe played for like 2 hrs. If you can send me a save from where it crashes I can test it out here to see if i can reproduce the error.

Which version of the game are you using?
It's the gog version, but when i tried with Crossover Games, that one crashed as well. It must be a problem with the game, i should redownload and see what happens.
I just realized I was like 3 mins from where you crashed in game. It did crash for me too.
I'll debug it now and see what i can do
oki, i've fixed the issue.
It is indeed a problem with wine/crossover and I found a few posts about it on the web.
Anyways, I'll update this now. So in about 10-15 mins it should be ready for download

Ok it's up!

Test it out! And please rate :)
Are you running on nvidia, amd/ati or intel graphics?

Thanks for reporting bugs!
Now the graphics are messed up, i don't even know how to explain it :|

I'm using Intel HD3000 by the way (Macbook Air 2011)

Ahh i tested it on my nvidia machine. I can try get it working on my MBA too.
Downloaded this game as a full port from the old forum and it works perfectly on GMA 950.
seems like it's a bug with given resolution and intel HD, so far it runs nice here if I hit cmd-alt-a and play in windowed mode.
I will fin a proper fix tho, I just need some testing

The old one is CXSkin based, so it doesn't work at all
Ok it's an issue with Intel HD. To fix it, use the Wineskin app inside the wrapper and set it to windowed mode.
I just tested it and it works.

Drawback, you don't get full screen.

I will get this fixed wit a proper solution, but I'm not sure if i have time tonight

Also you can hit cmd-alt-a to play with mac menu bar on top. You have to go into options to choose display and just select the same res you already have and press ok to fill the screen, doesn't crash game on my mba.
Okay I have tried and tried to fix this game I am using windows nvidia GeForce 9200, and have listened to all blogs on this game but my grahics still show up red and distorted. The intro of game is in colour and fine...the menu portion as well but as soon as I go to start the game the player and room he is in is in is in red and choppy but the character maps are in colour and as soon as I try to get out of the room the game crashes!!! If someone could help, it would be much appreciated!!!
