When you click on a user name you can see some information like is last ported and some personal information. Would it be possible to see a list of the games or apps that this user ported? So if somebody like a ported that a user made and want to see what other ported this user made, he'll just need to click on the user name and see what this user ported on a list.

exemple:

thedoctor45 (sorry, but you seems to have made a lot of good port) made a game port that i like and i want to see what else did he (or she) ported. I'll click on is name and i there's a list of the games that he ported that appear in the user statistic or profile or somewhere else.

it's just a suggestion, but it would be great to have this.

A mod like this doesn't exist afaik, i tried looking for such a mod way back in 2009.
But yes ,this would be very nice to have.

What this mod should do:
List all Topics from the current Porter from a specific Forum subsection.

If you want to search for such a mod in the phpBB3 database, you can view them here. Perhaps you'll find a similar one that does this.

maybe a way to just add an extra link in the profile... that link goes to a page that user can set up to list their own stuff?

or it can auto-load the threads you have created in the Game Wrappers/Full Games/Applications (etc.) sections?

Or you could make another forum section where porters post 1 thread with all their ports in it.

Then make another link avail in the UserCP pointing people to the thread with all the users ports.

Might get a little daunting if the user has 100 ports at this time to make the thread...

This is a but more of an expansion on doh's idea...

We currently have more than 120 Porters, and the Forum allows only for 120 Topics per page.
So others will be buried on Page two, and even if it's only one Page you have to do a lot of scrolling...

doh:
vBulletin allows for a kind of 'mini-Blog' for every user, but this rarely gets used.
Although, for our purposes here this would be quite good.

I almost recommended that we all get WordPress blogs, but we'd run into legal issues.
I can't use DHost either.
I can't believe Linkbucks haven't came for my blood yet.

Currently, no.
Maybe a whole Forum switch from phpBB3 to vBulletin will solve that, but another Forum software has other Problems that our current Forum doesn't have. (like we use a few modificatins here that don't exist in vBulletin.)

Also introducing mini Blogs makes it very hard to control what people post on there, like Warez, Porn or Propaganda.
I don't want to get a nasty email from somewhere because someone decided he would like to share illegal Files on his mini Blog.
Also introducing mini-Blogs for every user pretty much fragments this place into a total mess, some People only post on their Blogs, some People in the Forum; and normal people get way confused that way.

The other side is what insanelymac currently has, insanelymac has mini-Blogs, but 99% of the Users never use them.

Edit: there also exists a User Blog modification for our Forum Software, but i don't know if it's a good idea to implement it because of the points i stated above.

This is besides the point, but aren't their already warez on this site and the blogs that are currently up? (Well, Danko's appears to be Full Port free.)
And as a side note, I know I would use the mini-blog.

There is no Warez on the site.
Also Linksave is the only allowed way of linking to whatever things you intend for others.

No warez here, nintendotoad, everything in the Full Games section should be used for backups only (now tell me, how many people here follow that rule? )

Do you think making a separate forum section is enough?

This is anything that might more closely? I know, I find it very convenient. Currently, I'm just under the search box in the search porter author's name. It works, but it is not easy...

It's officially released for Mac, no need for a port.

I agree, would be helpful to also avoid less than trustworthy porters....
