Edit button kinda hidden?

In some threads, i encountered a problem. The edit button disappeared! Should it be like that or it's just a bug or smth?

He's probably referring to the announcement section where normal users don't have edit permissions.

Permissions for the 'Site Updates and Announcements' sections are a bit special for a purpose.

Also don't apologize in your sig, you've done nothing wrong.

You broke two "etiquette" rules, not forum rules (nobody was wounded nor killed), and I'm glad devilhunter told you not to apologize for this, I was about to do the same. ;)
