We have a request system well in place, but would it be a trouble to have an "offer system" as well?

(Ie I have ported this, would anyone want to download it.)

I find it somewhat painful to subscribe to all of my ports, especially when people just post "thanks" or "I still can't find the full game!" or "it doesn't work I'm on a GMA".

There's no reason for that....the ports database is an extremely useful method of sharing ports. More so now that it's that we've switched over from the old format. Submitting ports barely takes minutes now.
