They have closed registration, so we are unable to access the port files.

in all reallity we are not going to put the full ports on this board nor does anyone that makes the cider wrappers support that you should pirate the games so if yuo cannot access demonoid the chose place to for those who chose to upload them take the wrappers for what they are worth and get the rest of the files by what ever means you see fit.

Basically what slacker said. We do not in any way support the sharing of full games or piracy, this is not a warez board. This is the reasons for why we share wrappers only, we assume that those who download them own a copy of the original game or planning on buying one.

Thats fine, but most of the wrappers are on demonoid.com. Like I said, those new here, like myself simply cannot access them.
I have the games already, but its frustrating not being able to grab the wrappers and thereby prevent the need for installing the virus known as Windows on my MBP again.

all the wrappers if they are just wrappers are on media fire if your hitting demonoid thats due to someone posting something they should not be

there are tons of ports listed up in the forums that ONLY have demonoid links... its not a few, its a ton.... I don't have demonoid, and the few I wanted that I had no way to get, I just haven't ever gotten or have ported them myself. The demonoid link will not work for anyone who is not a member of demonoid...
this is not a post about piracy, or anything, its just a post saying people should stop using Demoid for wrappers.... or make wrappers available. There are games up there that only have links to downloading the full pirated game, wit no wrapper only available. I think it would be better if you can get the wrapper only, mainly on large games. Like I wanted to get Morrowwind, and its demoid, so i cant get it... and even if i could, I have the discs right here, i dont wanna waste the time trying to download a torrent for a whole game, when I just wanted a wrapper.
It would be nice if the site focused more on telling people to make wrappers available.... if its hard to get the game running in the wrapper, then make step by step directions, and maybe patches that are needed packaged in with the wrapper.

I am going to make an announcement via PM and email to make this clear about the torrents business before this gets too out of hand. If you have posted your port, please make sure that your post contains only a link to the wrapper and not the torrent.

Posting again, but I say no torrent links at all.
And if you know what a torrent is it isn't very hard to get into demonoid.
