Risk of rain works flawlessly. The steamliner runs it better than the mac version.

Great release!
One question, usually FTL have the WIN7 saves files (and progress ones) in "My Documents/My Games/FasterThanLight".
I cannot find them anywhere inside or outside the Wrapper for Steam.
Can you help?

thx

ps
Steam Cloud doesn't sync my win and mac FTL so I want to link the saves to Dropbox.

Try looking in ~/Documents/My Games/ and see if “FTL” shows up there.

Posted this under the wrapper, then realized there's this forum.
"awesome wrapper, thank you!
my experiences so far:
• Overlord works perfectly (a bit laggy sometimes, but I have a MacBook from 2008, so thats ok)
• Starbound tries to install DirectX upon first opening it, then it crashes
• Don't starve together just opens a window and immediately closes it again
• Binding of Isaac: Rebirth seems to actually run but the graphics are totally messed up (the cutscene and most textures don't show up)
Will post more results on other games once I got the time to try them.

UPDATE 1: Many games want to install DirectX upon first starting it but they all fail. Is it safe to install any DirectX with winetricks like d3dx9_36 or might this mess up the whole wrapper?

UPDATE 2:
•Mirrors Edge works (although not on my computer, too old)
•Monaca works (as far as I tested it)
•Antichamber does not work (tries to install DirectX which is aborted with this error message: "dxsetup.exe - .NET Framework: Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application"
•Reus tries to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.cmd which fails. error message: "This app failed o start because it could not find or laud the Qt platform plugin "windows".""

UPDATE 3:
•Assassins Creed 1 seems to work properly, but I didn't get to test it very long since it's super laggy on my potato computer.
•Bioshock 1 appeared to run but it crashed while loading the first level in Rapture.
Note: All games try to install some kind of DirectX with different procedures but all with the same outcome: it fails. most games seem to ignore this and start up anyway but Starbound and Antichamber refuse to start after the installation has come to halt.

It wont let me launch the app due to it only having read-only permissions. I changed it on the .dmg but the app itself didnt have the option to change anything even with it unlocked. Help?

Hey I was able to run this fine last year with Mavericks, and I've just installed it running Yosemite. I can't get it to start after installing. It runs and updates Steam, but then I am given this error:

Any ideas?

Just tested Mass Effect (1), everything is ok: the game runs smoothly, any problems saving or loading careers...

It has a few minor problems tho: sometimes the mouse cursor will appear or disappear when it's not supposed to, some faces look a little weird, and in some conversations the audio doesn't work (but it only happens in a minority, in my case 3 conversations in 7 hours playing).

Looking in other Mass Effect wrappers (currently unavailable) looks like they managed to fix the mouse cursor thing and the face bugs. I still did not figured out how.

I really need install Wine before Steamliner?
Or steamliner will do the same than Wine?
My problem is a error after open the app
"ERROR! cannot write to Info.plist, there are permission problems, or you are on a read-only volume.

This cannot run from within a read-only dmg file."

Wineskin wrappers contain all the necessary Wine and X11 files within it's contents. You do not need to install Wine separately. Just drag and drop the wrapper from the disk image to your system's hard drive and try again.

I dragged the application to my desktop, but when I opened it, it says "An error occurred while starting the X11 server: "Failed to activate core devices." Click Quit to quit X11. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple." I am very new to all of this, what does this mean? Thanks!

use this one:

Only in case it should have some issues with steam, try to update the wrapper's  64 bit engine with a more recent one:

https://mega.nz/#!Ww...OSZuHspZi_IoDI?

Note: Any game that requires DirectX10 or higher will not work. The wrapper is intended for Games with a DirectX9 only.

Since Steam update at July 11th it only works on Wine Staging 2.12+, Wine 2.13+ and CrossOver 16.2.5+, so that wrapper doesn't work anymore

read what I written to him regarding the new engine... I linked the staging 2.12 64bit engine so he can update the wrapper with it...

and here the 2.13 64bit staging version:

Ops, sorry, haven't noticed that this was the link :P In any case, it's better to let him know which engines he can try ;)
