Hey folks,

Long time lurker here. It's time to step out and start giving back to the PortingTeam community. That being said, I will undertake the task to create a wrapper that will run Halo 2. I should warn you though, I'm also a full time student. I'll give any spare time I have to work on this project.

Any comments and concerns are welcomed for this project. If you have advice for me that will create a better performing wrapper is most welcomed.

  • Program requires Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsft Server 2003 to run
    • Found a solution where Window 7/XP users wanted to run game on their system by bypassing Vista config
  • First manner of business: run "Games for Windows Live" on a wrapper to validate Halo2 purchase


Step #1: Creating the wrapper
  • Wrapper engine: InfinityDark
  • Wrapper version: WineSkin 2.6.0
  • Issues:
    • Program requires Microsoft Windows Vista or Microsft Server 2003 to run
      • Found Solution to
  • Additions/Edits:
    • Changed Wrapper engine to InifinityDark from WS9Wine 1.7.2
