I saw that Free Realms is now available, so I downloaded it and uploaded it here.

I was sure it was just going to be some native port by Transgaming. But it wasn't!  :P

According to "Show info", the version is 4763.

But the version.txt says 4861. :%) (Thank you, playn)

Try it!  :Bravo:

I just may! I guess cider isn't dead after all?    It also goes to show that you never know which game might get a cider update.

So far I've tested it with Wolverine and Singularity and things in singularity like the female character's hair still render incorrectly but it seems to add a couple of missing shader effects to Wolverine such as waterfall\water shading and some but not all missing graphics in feral senses mode. However this isn't a huge update over the last two it seems like a minor incremental update over 4533 so far. In other words not earth shattering but some progress.

But if they keep up this work all the graphics in those games will be fixed sooner or later.  :afro:

Thanks, nice to get another version... Will test it once downloaded (I hope to see the water effects of Far Cry 1.4 fixed someday).
I guess we have a good answer about the continuity of the Cider project, it won't die so easely :)
Hopefully they'll keep updating Cider aslong they have new game's porting projects in their suitcase.

Well I've figued out that in this version it's better to leave the d3d files alone than to install the ones from actual directX. So for UE3 games I mostly just install PhysX and MFC\msvcr\msvcp files if I need them. This wrapper can actually run UE3 games without any d3d .dll files in the system32 folder but that causes some errors in the shadows in games like Mirror's Edge so it's best to leave the few d3d dll files that come with it in there.

However no matter how you run it it still doesn't fix the rendering errors that singularity has such as in this screenshot the shaders for her hair are floating in mid-air away from her head and also rendered wrong (other models show similar problems randomly). I don't know whether to blame the wrapper, my graphics drivers or a shoddy windows port of the game. No other game has errors like that.

Really? The info says 4763.

But the version.txt has got to be right. I'll change it.

Link Save is link protection. After you get past Linksave there IS a mediafire link. If you cant access Linksave in your country use a proxy such as http://ninjacloak.com, remember to uncheck the 'remove scripts' checkbox or it won't work. Once you have the mediafire link from the proxy access it without the proxy. Hope it isn't too confusing.

I know, waves. Just that I can never get pass the subsequent captu entry screen on clicking the Linksave button. It always refreshes and returns again for another captu entry. I have tried every browsers and not behind a firewall.

Thanks for your guide, MittenZz.

There is progress. Somehow with ninjacloak, the Linksave page finally displays with the encrypted Mediafire link. However, it leads to another blank page with further clicking of the link. Sigh  ...

Maybe I should do one Linksave and one Safelinking next time then?

After some test, i'm going to keep some games on Cider 4533 for now... For example, in GOG-Painkiller and GOG-Far Cry ciderized up to 4763-4861, after (approximately) two hours and half of run, the games freeze (you still can hear the sounds, but image stucks, you have to force the game to quit and restart it), something that didn't happen in Cider 4533. I first thought it could have been the graphic card which would start to get a bit too hot after a while, but it only happened in this last version of Cider.. Did someone experienced a similar problem?

I haven't played around with this version. Maybe later.
