Okay, and basically, if I succeed to overclock to 3,2Ghz (just 6% of OC), do you think that I would be able to play it ?
Yes you should. You should be able to play it on just about any speed but it won't run that good. I think 3.20 for the speed to be okay. Just somewhere around there. Give it a try. And what are your specs?

I'm actually using a late-2009 iMac 21"5, basic config, with 4GB added ram, it's finally :

But I've a hard time trying to find a way to OC a mac... Possible only on MacPros with a ZDNet tool that won't accept launching with my mac... And lazy to edit the SMBios to fool the app >_<

Can't get it working other than f*cking slow :-\
Everything is okay until the character choice. When the 3D models appear in the character choice window, it starts to slow down :-\

What PCSX2 are you using? The one distributed here or one from elsewhere? What kind of errors?

On LilyPad, you simply have to click what button you want to configure to your keyboard. For example, I click "Triangle" and enter "Y" on my keyboard. Then I click "Apply" to save the changes I just made.

And download GamePad Companion for Mac to use the PS3 controllers as the keyboard. PS3 controllers are automatically connected to your keyboard via Bluetooth when you connect it to your Mac via USB and then disconnecting it. For instructions on how to use GamePad Companion, there is Youtube.

Yes I know. FileFactory just changed the regular and premium members features three days ago. I can't even download my own file, I can't even view it. So stupid.. -_-  There isn't anything that can be done.

Hi, I am unable to press any buttons in-game. I've downloaded GamePad Companion and it works flawlessly with my PS3 controller and LilyPad setup, but when I start my game (Final Fantasy XII), nothing happens when I press buttons. Also, the game is quite laggy.

Did you make sure to save and apply the configuration for LilyPad? If you did, try clicking on the window afterwards. And it just means that you computer probably can't handle the game.

Erm, I have the weirdest problem. I'm not exactly new to PCSX2 but this is the first time I've tried it on a Mac, as a port.

Okay, so I'm able to save my configurations and all, I'm using LilyPad, the latest one. But whenever I start a game, the game is able to start, but the controls just seem to reset, no buttons work. Then, I exit the game and check out the configurations, the key bindings became blank. Pretty puzzling.

I'm using Lion OSX btw, if it helps. And yes, I did double check to see if I applied the configurations, apparently I did.

You have to save the configuration and then when you open it up again, you have to load it again. It seems to not save. However, there are other versions of LilyPad that manage to save.

Did you enable FFX fix on the video plugin? Also take a look at the Game Fixes section in the settings.

Either the ISO, the Disc, the plugin, the settings. Thats all I can pretty much say. Try changing the PCSX2 application to the latest one and then try the game again. If not, look at forums. Sorry, I'm not the PCSX2 expert.

Ok, well I had just started using Windows 7 on mac. It took a while to install. I ran pcsx2 9.7 and seems like I got a speedup. But then I noticed that VMWare took a lot of my CPU without the emulator. I continued to run it though my computer was tired while running it. So I am now stuck to using wine again... Well at least in pcsx2 9.7, they finally added frameskip and it now works.

It seems that Wine really does suck compared to a normal windows hardware and software. Is there actually no way to improve
pcsx2 on the mac. Zedr0n's port is going pretty well with the mac. A lot of games are running like full-speed. He needs to fix graphical errors though.

I guess there is no hope for pcsx2 except wine and zedr0n's port.

I use parallel 6 its better and drain less power also the new version parallel 8 have a huge performance boost and more visualization support for graphics card.
