I recently stumbled into a article about PCSX2 that mentioned a Mac port. So the first thing I did was go to PCSX2 homepage, then I found a link for the Mac version. Here is the link: http://pcsx2mac.net/  :Yahoo!:

Enjoy!

Please complain to them if it doesn't work. And if it asks for a BIOS, Google it!

How well does it work, in terms of speed and compatibility? I still haven't upgraded to Snow Leopard, but I'm tempted to buy it for this.

I haven't tested myself, sorry... But from what I have heard, it runs pretty good with almost every game. (Unless you have a pre-2008 Macbook) I plan to test once I get a chance, currently I am running OS X Lion (DP2). I hope there will be no incompatibility with Lion. :(

Sorry for my late reply, I have a similar problem, but that was with 10.6 and now I'm only using 10.7, I never seem to find the time to test it :P

I have looked into trying to fix this problem, no solutions found. I haven't found anything besides both PCSX and PCSX2 appear to use similar (If not the same) files, therefor creating a problem with them both.

Not sure if this is true, but when I looked through the installer to see what it installs, it looked the same.

Sorry about your troubles :(

I have it running perfectly. Just that the emulation isn't so great for those 3d environmental games. It certainly is BAAAAAAD at running Kingdom Heart II Final Mix and Dragon Ball Z Infinite World and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 5. Its simple head to the site he tells you which package to download. Download it, open, and install. Open the file "pcsx2.app" set the plugins, memcards, and etc. Then configure using cdvd, the .iso that you are using or going to be using. ONLY ISO's ARE SUPPORTED!!!!!! You can ask someone to make a backup or you can just use an application that takes in dvds and creates Iso's such as Toast. Toast is most likely for that. You then select your bios in the plugins menu. BIOS can be illegally downloaded online so just google it HOWEVER (if you don't have a ps2 DONT DOWNLOAD IT!!! Download at your own risk. I don't promote piracy. I downloaded it because I own a ps2). You can just configure the controllers and then just load the iso in RunCDVD with the plugin that it comes with. Then just set the graphics and done.

Could you make a video on youtube how you have it downloaded, running, and emulating a game? Thanks. Is it necessary for the game to be pirated or original? :friends:

It does not need to be pirated, in fact you should refrain from doing so but its not a big deal. You need an .ISO file though. I don't really condone piracy but you can actually just download a ripped version of a game and try that in PCSX2 I have a video up but not of zedr0n's port.
