I would be truly grateful to anyone who could give me a little guidance... running osX10.6.7 on a 13" black macbook (2.4GHz intel core 2 duo, w/ 4gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM) and whatever the built in video card is... can't remember exactly. Cheers,
Hans

Since you have a bare minimum chip what can be called a GPU, i can't recommend any medium to heavy ports, but you can try this one.

I've posted this in 2009, and it wasn't even a CXZ Wrapper back then.
Here is the Project64 wrapped in the newest Wineskin
link
I haven't got a N64 Rom around to test it with now (now where did i put those things...), but it should work; just select 'open ROM' from the File menu in the window and navigate to your ROM.
I have posted quite a lot of Emulators back then (all of which don't work now since snow leopard), an i'll be updating them with Wineskin and post them into the Port Database when i'll find the time.

When I simply double click on the zeroN64.app, the icon appears in the dock but then nothing else happens.
Thoughts?
thanks in advance
edit: apologies if this question is similar to those above, but i'm just wondering if anything has changed since then!

So either go back to Snow Leo - or try a something else - but it will not work on 10.8

Why not? its a Wineskin based wrapper.
I mean the one posted by DH above. It should work just after updating the wrapper to v2.5.8, which is a simple task. o.o

Ah that one - never realized there was a winskin one - so yeah it will work - but not unless it is 2.5.8 - for 10.8.2 - I assume without looking at
