Hi all. I want to made port of the game Counter Strike 1.6. During first launch game started in full screen (800*600), but when I choosing my native resolution (1440*900), bottom corner has clipped:

Spoiler

I have tried with different engines, bottles and assemblies of the game. Please, tell me, how can I fix this?

see this:

using native window decoration causes this sometimes, with the code above you can switch back to no window decoration.

I really should get a window decoration option implemented in CXEx sometime...

I don't think we need yet another button in the CXEx.app conidering that it is packed with all sorts of buttons. No doubt, you did a great work with the UI, but I think it would be better to simply have all new wrappers have this option disabled by default (also the managing, that seems to cause issues as well). Ported apps still stick out, even it the windows are decorated, so what's the point in having that option turned on anyway?

I had a similar issues with Arx Fatalis, except I had a white bar at the top. Disabling windows decoration and managing in Winecfg fixed it. Thanks for the workaround :)
Games I own that still need porting:
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Descent 3, Fallout, Space Rangers 2

quartz-wm is a total pain in the butt.  It is free to use, but is not open source so no one but apple can fix the bugs in it, and they don't care much about it.  disabling the decoration and management prevents quartz-wm from doing some things, but its still buggy.

I'm messing with a way in a new Engine Base for Wineskin of having quartz-wm start and stop completely when switching between rootless windowed modes and fullscreen, so it can always be left on... but I don't think that would be very easy to do with how CXEx's X11 works, and that its basically right from Crossover with no source code available to play with.

Thanks, trick with the User.reg works, now game run in the fullscreen. :)  But now, after changing maps on servers (screen before choosing team), game freezes and sound repeats... :(

I've tried to port this game with Wineskin, but it is every time wants to install Gecko, and game runs very slow.

Anyway, now game is playable, thanks for replies, guys :)
