Now that we have a great Port Database, how about a Bug Database for the ports?
The comments areas under the ports are getting many comments that makes the port author loose track of any bugs that the users may have. Just take a look at the Skyrim port, 1000+ comments.
A bug database would be great and it would help the porters make the ports run better if they could have a system where they could track any bugs, mark them as resolved or unfixable etc.

I don't know if this idea has been suggested before, I couldn't find anything similar and I couldn't search for the word 'bug' as it's under 4 characters (maybe make that 3?)

I know this feature and we could use it.
We had something similar on the last forum, (bug tracker), bot nobody used it.

Still in consideration if IPB's implementation is better than phpBBs.

Well it does look much better. Take a look at the implementation on this website

We could link the port in the db with an entry in the tracker, so that users can file bug reports there. This way we could also minimise the console output being pasted in the comments

And I didn't even know that we had a bug tracker in the phpBB version

A bug tracker is good for a few products, but we have thousands of ports here.
Would be a total mess.

Also you can't force people to post in the tracker, often they post where they like for their problem. I'm sure you noticed that people post game problems in various sections.
Suggestion box, audio corner, announcements.

Well, keep this in mind and we'll have another look at this in a few weeks when everything's a little quieter.
