In the window you use to load up an avatar it says to use an image 200x200 or bigger but whenever I try that it fails to load it. It only worked after I made mine 128x128 copying the size it's displaying at in the forum.

it did that for me, too. I think it's a filesize issue of the pictures.
at first i uploaded a 256x256 png, and it balked at that. after converting it to jpeg with the same dimensions, it worked.
IPB's avatar settings are slim, with no real options to change avatar dimensions or file size

I had to edit a few template files to make Avatars bigger here in the forum.

I also wish I could turn off the border around the avatar so the transparent boundaries of my avatar would be the boundaries.
