I'd like to change the name of a topic I created (that was imported from the old forums) but I can't see any way to do so. Am I missing something? thx :)

At the bottom of the post, lower right hand corner, next to the MultiQuote button there should be an edit button...unless that's what mods see...pretty new to all this too.

Ah yes, I realize you can edit a *post* but the *title* of the topic does not belong to a particular post… seems like there is no way for a normal user to edit it?

It seems only moderators can change Topic titles on IPB.
Weird decision from them, just like turning off all buttons when switching the rich text editor off to basic.
I'll look into the ACP if this is changeable anywhere, but i think one needs to PM a moderator for changing Topic Names.

Hmm, weird decision… I guess this is since the topic itself isn't tied to the first post, but should still be somehow tied to the OP. Thanks for looking into it :)
